I've only ever been to tasmania twice - once for a week to Hobart and I saw some things in/around Hobart and the second time was only for one day for my friends wedding so I'm not sure what youre talking about. What I said is you wont see those views of Tas unless you wanna pay loads for helicopter tours.

I'm from NSW (sorry), but this ad looks like every other QLD, NT, SA or VIC advert. Yay, cliffs and beaches and forests and wine and sweeping vistas, but nothing in this ad makes Tas stand out. Enough of the helicopter fly-over shots, we've all seen the pretty pictures. Do you all use the same advertising company?

What makes Tas such a great place to live? - Seriously, I'm asking, I'm fed up with NSW, it's Tas or NZ.

I love tassie beautiful weather (in summer) but its good because i love the rain. I dont think I would be able to live in Queensland or Northern territory To hot. Any one who loves snow, walking, surfing, in fact all outdoor stuff you will love it.

I am from Tassie and I love the natural beauty of the place (what hasn't been logged yet). The only thing that wrecks Tasmania is the bogan tossers that inhabit almost every part of the urbanised areas of the island.

Typically the Tas Gov uses images of clean and pristine wilderness in ads when in reality it is doing its best to destroy that same wilderness with massive over logging of 60% of the state and the obviously corrupt approval of a pulp mill to shovel even more of Tasmania's forests into, Don't be fooled by this propaganda - boycott Tasmania.
