i'm STILL hoping for this and 'winter', but gave up on fatal frame. i love the series but read about some VERY stupid decisions, which ultimately lead nintendo into NOT publishing it outside of japan. but something as promuising as sadness CAN not be cancelled! :( makes a grown man weep in sadness.

Is this the next Too Human? I remember reading about that in 1996 and got excited since the N64 could use a game like that vs. the PSX. 12 years later TWELVE F'n YEARS LATER, it gets released for the 360...and it sucks.

@Puckeffideb1 That's right. It got cancelled after four years of being in 'game hell'. Then the company shut down and split up so they cancelled it all together. It's really sad. This was actually what got me to wanting a Wii. =/ Instead games like this went to the cruddy PS3 and we're stuck with the likes of dance games and family carnivel. ;_;
@Ballira I remember when I saw it in game informer and wanted to get a wii because of it. Now in 2012 I finally figured out what the game was called and it is cancelled which sucks. lol

I mean, it was one of the first few things they showed for the Wii that actually looked GOOD and encouraged people to buy their product.

0:20 - 0:25 is actually a pc game called infernal that an idiot thought he could pass off as sadness, so you might want to remove that from your sadness artwork collection.
The real Sadness is that we want a good horror game on wii, but winter is in dev hell and nibris mess us around.
If they aren't at E3 like they are saying they will be then I'm completely done with this game, even if it does get a release after that.
The big thing you got to remember Nibris has had a bumpy road to travel down. Frontline studios intended to publish the game but around march 2007 just out of the blue left nibris basically probably crashing the main infrastructure they had set up. also Nibris is small so they get hit 10x harder compared to a company like EA or infinity ward.
Hopefully we can see Sadness at E3 2009, I loved the concept and ideas they had since day one.
Yeah, i heard about that. The only REAL gameplay footage out there is the off screen gameplay (wich made me hyped).
The rest is just art-work. It wouldn't surprise me if the next thing they release as info. is MORE art-work... if so, i'll just drop this game from my minds and say:
I'm going to continue keeping my hopes up... even if the odds of the game ever being release are doubtful. Maybe...Nibris wants to see if gamers are interest or curoius about the outcomes of the title. If they see a cinch of anticpation, they'll probably release a more detailed trailer.

The best joke was, when Nibris said, they'd be at the Games Convention at Leipzig - but they were not.
I guess, this is Nibris way to make publicity for the game.
There is only one gameplay-footage (or at least it is said to be), concept art and a hand full of in-game grafics.
I hope, it will come this year.
