well done! I was having trouble determining what sort of 'style' (classical/romantic) to play it in, especially with the natural tone of violas (see comment below haha) - listening to this really helped :D Keep playing!
@kuroshitsujidarkart I'm out of the country until August but I'll check it for you what editions I used for this concerto. From what I remembered I used 2 or 3 different editions. They all have some mistakes (in both viola and piano part) so the best way is to rent all of them and examine.
@iamviolist That's ok. There's no rush. Do you know of any versions that include a cadenza that are under 10 minutes? With a piano accompaniment included?
One of the shorter abridgments, but certainly not bad! On the contrary, I quite enjoyed this piece. You have a wonderful talent. An excellent cadenza, though my favorite cadenza for this piece comes from Dimitar Penkov.
BRAVISSIMO MACIEJ! :-)

I wrote a Concertino for Viola and strings

Download the video to watch it.
Perhaps because it has 12 minutes in HQ, the video does not play entirely in the related page, but if you download it, it comes complete.

Very nice! I love the way your play your chords...it's not as grating as some people.

Great job man! Which edition of this cadenza you played for those trplets on the second half?

Very nice. Having the disadvantage of the viola's tone in classical (era) music is not easy to overcome. This is quite well done. :)
Forgive me– I am a violinist. The tone thing isn't personal. :)

@Ant7677 although a lot of the tone loss has to do with the recording. it's pretty low quality and is getting quite distorted.

I was searching for a piece to play on a concert, but since I heard this, I'm convinced I'm going to play this Stamitz Concerto.
Thank you!

You have great bow use and flawlessy in tune double-stops. I have to applaud the work you did on this concerto.
I also enjoyed the style and musical aspects of your cadenza. Great Job!

Nice Tempo, tone. A very nice performance of the 1st movement. Thanks for sharing. I'll review this once I rebuild my skill level to this point.
