  • Boy, this theme got you AMPED, AND READY for the ROYAAAAAAAAAL RUMBLLLLLLLLLE!

  • It just means more gold, more trophies, more notoriety, more recognition, longer cars, more women! It means everything for Ric Flair to be the next WWF champion.

  • Sadly - four of these wrestlers are dead - Big Boss Man, Macho Man, Hawk, and Earthquake

  • @JCchamp316 May they Rest In Peace

  • its time to rumble! its time for the royal rumble!!!!!

  • Boy wwf had all the wrestling stars at this time, their own and the roadwarriors and flair

  • I still have the video tape of the 1992 Royal Rumble followed by Wrestlemania 8 when Macho Man defeated Ric Flair for the WWF Title

  • IT'S TIME FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE!!!!!

  • Vintage Royal Rumble.

  • ICW - International Championship Wrestling for z Amiga !!

  • Ahhh yes, the 1992 Royal Rumble. My favourite Royal Rumble of them all! I feel the 1993 Royal Rumble was the last of the true great Royal Rumbles. Bret Hart v Razor Ramon for the title. Ric Flair, Macho Man, Mr. Perfect, Yokozuna, Ted DiBiase all in the Rumble. Good times.

  • anddd HAKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

  • This was the theme for the first 2 Summerslams.

  • ITS TIME TO RUMBLE....ITS TIME FOR THE ROYAAAAAAAL RUMBLE!

  • DAMN! I was 13yrs old lol

  • this was the best rumble theme of all time and that was one of the best royal rumbles of ALL TIME!

  • this will always be the best rumble theme of all time

  • TO BE THE MAN......YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE MAN!! WHOOOOOOOOOO

  • As much as I love the 92 rumble, I still like 1990 better since the Warrior, Hulk, Andre, Dibiase, Rude, Perfect, Savage and Snake were all involved.

  • You hear a theme like this and you know your in for a great PPV

  • Royal Rumble 2002 is better

  • Man i'd pay money just to see this era come back and to see these wrestlers perform dead or alive. Man back in my era nobody complained or even talked when this came on, everyone in my neighborhood had this on or the regular WWF tv shows back then. What happened Vince? You need WCW revival or something to get you back to bringing the TRUE PG *this* era back? PG ERA 1980'S VERISON FTW!!!!!

  • undertaker looks like he came out of a comic book

  • This 92 Rumble is the best cast for a Royal Rumble ever, the 2nd best I think was in 2005 in Fresno when it had all Eddie Guerrero RVD Y2J Batista Flair etc

  • best rumble ever vintage royal rumble

  • 88-Hacksaw Jim Duggan,89-Big John Studd,90 and 91-Hulk Hogan,92-Ric Flair,93-Yokozuna,94-Bret Hart,Lex Luger,95 and 96-Shawn Michaels,97 and 98-Austin,99-Mcmahon,00-The Rock ,01-Austin,02-HHH,03-Brock Lesnar,04-Chris Benoit,05-Batista,06-Rey Mysterio,07-Undertaker,08-John Cena,09- Randy Orton,2010-Edge

  • Classical them, when wrestling was at its best.

  • Fuck I love this music!

  • the best royal rumble is when is flair won it 91 i believe

  • @MrCHITOWN247 hogan won 91. flair won 92.

  • @syxodude91 : 1992 was probably the best Royal Rumble 'match' itself because you had the greatest collection of talent in the ring at one time in wrestling history. Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, HBK, Undertaker, Sid Justice, Jake the Snake, British Bulldog, Ted DiBiase, Sgt. Slaughter, Roddy Piper, Kerry Von Erich, and many more. However to me personally the best overall RR was '91. Every match was great.

  • @syxodude91 I loved the 92 rumble because Ric Flair won it at #3.

  • nop flair won it in 92

  • Just wondering why was the '92 regarding as the best rumble of all time compare to the others before?

  • @eugene680 well to me its the wrestlers that was in it,,,hulk, taker, flair, lawler, piper, sid vicious young shawn michaels,(and it wasnt predictable),, but the main reason is ,,its the only time the wwf championship was on the line at the royal rumble,,,,,just my opinion

  • i think this was the best rumble ever!

  • Look at Ric Flair in the lower right corner stylin' and profilin'. I love this music. I wish I can download this

  • its time for the rumble....IT'S TIME FOR THE ROOOOOOYAL RUMBLE!!!!!!

  • Man those were the days...I think there is subliminal messages in these themes though...All I can hear is Mean Gene convincing me that I am a total loser if I don't order now! But seriously though, those Rumbles were hyped to the point you couldn't stand it and the winner could be anyone. Too bad wrestling isn't that good anymore.

  • I used to have that flyer in the cable bill back then

  • Brings a tear to my eye absolutly legendery this is so back in the day and im so glad i lived those days to witness Love it!! ..

  • Someone was talking about naming all of those guys in the picture... I want to take a crack at doing that...

Earthquake, Sid, LOD, Bossman, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter, Macho Man Randy Savage, Sid Justice, Hulk Hogan, Jake Roberts, Undertaker, Ric Flair.

  • by far my favorite rumble...at the knickerbocker arena in Albany NY with Ric Flair on top and NEW WWF champ!! yah that says enough

  • From 2:46 onwards, all I can hear in my head is Mean Gene Okerlund telling me to contact my local cable operator so I don't miss out on the action of this year's Royal Rumble.

  • i remember this theme damn wrestling just aint the same anymore

  • I blare the fuck out of this song in the car in the parking lot before going into the office.

  • You can tell someone is an old school fan of WWF when they can name every single wrestler on that poster!!

I feel bad for the little kids growing up today watching the new garbage, nothing like the old days !

  • @druid1988 Macho Man, one of the members Earthquake, Sid Justic, Hulk Hogan, Big Boss Man, Roddy Piper, jake roberts, the undertaker, sgt. slaughter, and ric flair road warriors and hawsaw jim duggan!

  • Look at that 1992 line up. Those to me, anyways were the golden days of wrestling.

A year later, and the Rumble entrants paled in comparison to 1992's.

  • Takes me back seeing the faces on there, from Hogan, Piper, Flair and others, such strong personalities and characters, not like todays era.

  • its time to rumble

  • This 92 RR was the 1st WWF PPV I attended and it was awesome. It was old Knickerbocker arena in Albany NY and i had 3rd row ringside tho i couldnt get on camera. I miss the WWF of the 90's!

  • and the original summerslam. although this song will always be synonomous with the royal rumble to me :-)

  • Awesome song the WWF was like a religion to many in those days!!!!

  • thats how the song was long time ago....when your just sitting and waiting for the pay per view to start oh yes i miss those days great memories..

  • I loved how you would get that 5 minute intermission in the early PPVs. just staring at a logo of the event, waiting for it to resume. I agree man, great times, great memories

  • Way to edit and chop up the song..

  • road warrior animal is in the poster too.

  • Is that Earthquake in the back left, 'cause he was not in this Rumble!?

  • i guess the artist was more focused on who was on the roster than who was in the rumble. good eye though i didnt see that until you said it

  • @syxodude91 Neither was Sgt. Slaughter

  • then again that could be skinner or hercules

  • @syxodude91 It is Earthquake (I assume you mean right behind Sid Justice and Macho Man Randy Savage) . I think the promotional poster is more emblomatic of the superstars of the WWF. Because The Natural Disasters took on L.O.D on the undercard and Hawk & Animal made it to the poster (either side of Rowdy Roddy Piper and the Big Boss Man).

  • Comment removed

  • He was in a tag team title match with Typhoon 'Natural Disasters' and they actually beat LOD by count out but titles did not change hands because no poin fall or submission. Earthquake was livid cause LOD attacked them with chairs after match. Good Rumble. Knickerbocker Arena Alabany New York:)

  • Good Rumble??

THE BEST RUMBLR PPV in my humble opinion. So many great Superstars of wrestling!

  • mine too!!!!!!!! I loved it when Ric Flair kicked 29 asses to become World Champion wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No, it's your mom.

  • Earthquake did compete in a tag team match at this Rumble, just not in the 30 man Rumble match.

  • @timmytheface Yep, that is Earthquake.

  • @timmytheface The Natural Disasters faced the LOD for the tag titles at this rumble.

  • It is indeed Earthquake. He and Typhoon fought the Legion of Doom for the tag titles in the undercard of the event. Hawk and Animal are also featured on the poster though they didnt take part in the main event rumble match. The poster is just letting you know who will be at the event.

  • @timmytheface Hmm, true but I do see LOD but then again if they had Earthquake, why not Typhoon as well? Good point.

  • @timmytheface It's Earthquake. You can see Hawk & Animal in the image as well and they weren't in the Rumble match. However the Legion of Doom did face the Natural Disasters at the event.

  • @timmytheface LOD werent in either i dont think?

  • @timmytheface Earthquake and Typhoon wrestled the Legion of Doom at the Royal Rumble though. Hawk and Animal are also on the cover and they weren't in the Rumble match itself either.

  • @timmytheface its Skinner

  • @timmytheface i believe its a failed drawing of hercules lol

  • this was when wrestling was at its best!

  • hell yeah!

  • i have to say me favorite rumble was 1990 it had the original demolition and wrestling was at it's prime

  • its the best royallllllllllll rumble EVER

especaily when Ric flair after beating

was walking and failing down by himself!!

it was incredible move such a too much funny for rick

    God bless all legends

  • this is how we want wwf to be like...

  • ITS TIME TO RUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!!!

  • It's the ROYAL RUMMMMMMMMBLEEE!

  • vince needs to go back being a anouncer again.

  • 1992 was a good royal rumble ric flair winning put the iceing on the cake

  • This was a great Rumble, but personally I thought that the ending was pretty mediocre, Hulk Hogan Helping Ric Flair win the match. Hogan pulled Sid out of the ring and caused Flair to win.

  • Very cool!

  • I love the old classic PPV themes!

I also love the old box art that they used to put on the Coliseum Home video tapes. The comic book covers such as the one above were always my favorites.

  • these were the days

  • I REMEBER WHEN I WAS LIKE 3 OR 4 I HAD THIS OLD WRESTLING GAME THIS REMINDS ME OF IT. i REMEBER DOINK THE CLOWN WAS IN IT AND THAT GUY SCARED ME

  • 1992 royal rumble was AWESOME!

i was scared for the mountie when hotrod zapped him with the cattle prod.

    Ric Flair WOOOO

  • The attitude era was great, but late 80's early 90's wwf was better.

  • Didnt Hogan work out to this song on his "Hulk Rules" video? or was it Jake The Snakes theme tune?

  • This is the best royal rumble theme. I wish they still had it every royal rumble. (U)

  • @xojeffhardy I feel the same about the old Summerslam and Wrestlemania themes. They all just sound so epic.

  • its the royal rumble its the wwf championship on the line it means more notoriety more gold more trophies more recognition longer cars more women it means everything for ric flair

  • listening to this theme gets me all nostalgic, i can just hear vince mcmahons over enthusiatic voice anouncing all the wrestlers competing, ahh the good old days!

  • Alright and... biiiiiiiiiig back bodydropppppppppppppp!

  • And 1, 2, 3, he-got-him-no-he-didn't! C'mon ref! Ah, Vince on commentary....lol

  • speaking from a wrestling standpoint as far as the best royal rumble goes id have to say the top five rumbles woudl have to be in this order

    1992

    1989

    1994

    1990

    1988

  • Here's how I rank my top 5:

    1. 1992

    2. 2001

    3. 1994

    4. 1990

    5. 2002

  • All great rumbles. I think that the best was 1990, 1992, and 2002.

    1996 & 1998 were pretty good too.

  • This rumble was the best. as was 1989, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2006.

  • 2001 wasn't that bad at all either. Very well booked.

  • the 1992 royal rumble the best rumble ever by quite a distance and ric flairs finest hour wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • ahh the glory days.

  • This was my favorite era in WWE/F history. I want to have this theme in the next royal rumble

  • whats your favorite rumble?

  • thats a good question, maybe the 1992 royal rumble or the 2002 royal rumble

  • @luxord05 1992 Royal Rumble, It had the best promos, the best wrestlers, the best commentary, and the best match.

  • @luxord05 Royal Rumble 1990 the ultimate rumble!

  • The good old Royal Rumble Theme, Love it!!! such a great tune for a great era in WWE

  • The 1992 Royal Rumble is still one of my favorite PPVs. The commentary being done by the Brain Heenan is more than entertaining.

  • now thats perfect!

  • I wonder how Vince was able to speak after announcing 30 names in his promo voice after all the names he had to say..."HULK HOOOGAN! UUULTIMATE WARRIOR! THE AMERICAN DREAM DUSTY RHODES! THE BIG BOSSMAN! HAKUU!

  • or Vince's famous 1992 THE UNNNNDERTAKER!!!

  • Love him or hate him Vince knows how to sell his stuff.

  • This is what wrestling needs to go back to. Not this bullshit they have now!

  • such an amazing song.

  • A dream come true... the Royal Rumble song!!!! Back from the Golden Age of wrestling: The early 90s.

  • Thanks so much ive been looking everywhere for this
