Unfortunately, it has not closed its doors. It still survives and continues to control the lives of its members, spins any news about itself, and hold themselves to be "special" in the eyes of God. What they say and what they do are two completely different things.

My wife's best friend's girlfriend from highschool ended up in a "community" like this in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

They claim to be a Christian organization yet my wife and her friend, good Chritians both, haven't been allowed to see this woman in over a decade.

Yikes! Typical cult behaviour. Utopia doesn't exist, at least not in this world. A light should go off when people with problems find instant absolution, followed by being torn down. This is a horrible pervision of what Christianity is meant to be. Thank the heavens that this cult has closed it's doors.
