FL is loop based. For trance and what not (my main genre), it's wonderful. The VSTs it comes with are great, but there are amazing ones out there you can purchase to totally enchance what FL is capable of. I'm self taught, and I know ableton and reason are simply more professional, but FL should never be devalued as a shitty music platform.

But...this is a top of the line program.

In no sequencer (Roland Fantom, Triton, FL, Reason, MPC) and so forth does the program do the work for you.

If you hop in FL and make a amateur beat, then you are and amateur beatmaker. It has nothing to do with it being FL.

FL, is the best way to go if you know anything about VTSs. I also work off the MPC, Triton, and more. FL is simpler and more extensive. For me to get on my mpc what FL offers, I'd pay over $10,000
