  • This against the new MBA is not even a close competicion :) maybe the old MBA could be a hard decision but, but come on :) lol

  • Not as good as MacBook Air...not even close

  • @paul201984 actualy,,, pwns the air in all technical aspects... air is a toy i like it is good as it can

  • Come on!! that design was copied from the mac book air

  • @guitarplayer3234 Does it matter? If it works better do you really think it matters to the user where the inspiration came from?

  • @guitarplayer3234 WTF? There is a lot of notebook that's ultraportable and that doesn't look like fucking MacBook Air!

  • @guitarplayer3234 no that design pwns the mac book air... and is not just that is more thin and more light than that stuff and dont get me started about performance...

  • Come Samsung, give those apple arrogants a lesson on free market competition! Those who say it's a rip off and all that, are just bewildered and obssesed with Apple, which, while a great company, has just become too arrogant, implying they have the 'truth' or sth, give me a break

  • @wraspita People who said that copied MacBook Air is gay :P

  • i would rather buy macbook air than samsung for the price almost the same..

  • @lutod616 The difference is, you get better hardware and also good design, from samsung , at a lower price than the macbook.

  • beast!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone wanting to know how to Upgrade to 8GB ram..I have a how to video on my page

  • I'm sorry but this is crap! It ain't beautiful!!

  • Backlit keyboard or it's fail?

  • Are the fingerprints optional, or does it come from the factory that way.

  • @nickys34 is an expo ?? dm

  • man voice woman hand..????

  • samsung pr rep held the laptop. They weren't allowed to speak on video about the 9 series at ces. @spooky78

  • no slanted design, better looking than macbook air, more powerful, thinner, lighter. and most importantly a far superior OS.

    RIP macbook air.

  • macbook air rip off!

  • @johnstonasia it rapes macbook air though, i hate apple and their monopoly and their overpriced hardware! that's why i never use any apple stuff computers or OS except for ipod and ios.

  • @VanMedia Not really. The new MBA is being released this month or next with the same or better specs.

  • do we have any price guessed yet?

  • I agree, I'm an art student and the design is just ugly. The "tear drop" curve design was popular in the 90s. 2011 is all about more define lines and blockiness. I have to give APPLE credits though I think they are the "Big Brother" of 2011.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM Read George Orwell "1984" and that's what APPLE is all about.

  • 6.5 hours battery life, backlit keyboard, intel i7

    MACBOOK AIR RIP

  • you would think that 13 inch computers with 1 gb graphics cards or i7's would put the pro out. Its like an apple and an orange. If your hungry, the orange will fill you up more but it wont keep you from the apple that tastes better and is filled with juicy juicy OS X

  • a bad copy of the mac book air!

    track pad with no buttons?!

come on, samsung, don't copy everything from apple!!!!!

  • @MrScrubsman Do you want to know more? It has a multitouch gesture trackpad with no buttons, just like the Macs, it has a backlit keyboard, just like the Macs, it has a flip out USB slot, just like the first generation Air, it has an aluminium body, just like the Macs and did I mention the operating system? Woo, it's Windows! Literally everything has been adapted from the MacBooks. BTW the design looks awful, unatractive and attracts lots of fingerprints/marks. Apple FTW

  • @sUpErHeRo15xx yeah, you are right!

    haha, apple is THE BEST!!

  • bye bye Macbook air!

  • i don't get how ppl are playing cod4 and other 3d games on 13.3" screen. MBA and Samsung 9series are meant for portability (business and students)- if u're a gamer, then go with alienware laptops

  • is it good with gamea?

  • Mac book air still roxx

  • @aniketroxx

no this samsung 9 puts mac book air to shame lol :) but mac book air is very good to

  • @DRACUL50 put a game into each one and youll see the MBA wins with a 256 mb graphics card. This computer cant run sims

  • @WarpeaceWar6

so theres many other things that the samsung 9 can do that the mac book air cannot

  • @DRACUL50 like crash?

  • @WarpeaceWar6

lol give the laptop a chance goood :)

  • @WarpeaceWar6

The new 13" MacBook Air features the fastest integrated graphics on the market.

NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory3. That's integrated, not dedicated. But fast enough!

  • @Vikingdescendent No. 320M is slower than intel HD 3000.

  • @TheOVCA No you are wrong, 320M faster then HD 3000.

  • @TheOVCA agree

  • @Vikingdescendent

    Dedicated makes all the difference...

  • @aniketroxx I was going to buy a Macbook air but this slaps it pretty hard in the face, if apple dont come out with an i5 sandy bridge, USB 3 and hdmi model I'm going for this baby for sure.

  • @benstacey1 you can buy a mini display port-to-HDMI adapter and plug it into your HD monitor if you want, but i agree with you, no core i5 on the airs - but the samsung's design looks kinda sluggish next to the air don't oyu think? i.e. glossy finish, could attract some fingerprints...

  • @benstacey1 theres a good reason why they didn't. An i5 takes up a lot more room on the motherboard (MBA taking the record for the smallest). If the i5 came into the air, there'd be no graphics card just like in this computer. This is a rare case where an apple computer is better than it's pc counterpart for gaming. One the other hand, this computer would rape in processing. And its thicker overall with the MBA averaging at .4 inches thick being very genrrous

  • @LinuxGalore: I know. I was quoting the video description, which mentions "15-inch". @chuongvision: ping, your video description needs an update.

  • "Battery life for the Intel Core i5 15-inch model" - is there a 15-inch model? And "between 7 and 8 hours" for a 15-incher, sounds like a lot. blog.laptopmag DOTcom SLASH samsung-9-series-hands-on-an-ultraportable-we-want-badly mentions 6.5 hours for the 13.3" model.

  • @dandvd generally ulpc's are 13" or smaller as lugging around anything bigger can be a problem and also a larger screen means less battery life, something that is very important in this class of device.
