I saw LB do this in some of his videos.. and I didn't know why or the purpose. Then I started doing it in game and I realized that it was useful but still wasn't quite sure what for. This video just explained everything for me and made it make sense. So I thank you for that.

This is a good series. I am legally blind and have used my blindguy tacts which are different but effective all things considering. i didnt even think bout this stuff. at first i really didnt get it, but i made myself do quick nades all this past weekend and i am in love with them. i think the advantage is more in the nade being out of your hand and where you want it to land quicker than a long throw nade or a blind fire nade. got i dont know how many smokes out before people could smoke me. really comes in handy on mercy and drydock when rushing for the first hill. thank for the vid man

Hey Arctic, you can bank a gernade at gernade spawn off the tree if you look up, if you aim high enough you can catch a guy just leaving snipe spawn. Thats a little something I found out playing some ranked TDM on one fine winter night.

In Gears 2 I would always throw a quick grenade and roll right after so I dont lose momentum, but now in Gears 3 it cancels it. =(

Wait, so what's the point of even doing a quick grenade? I'm looking at this, and you don't have enough time to adjust the throw after you do it. Might as well just blindfire toss it. Same effect (as far as I can tell), but a hell of a lot easier.

The nade bank on clock tower has an unspoken alternate throw. Next time you grab them on clocktower, look directly above where they spawn you throw smoken down to assist with campers, or throw up the hole for easy sneak attacks

@xDrMs2 Blind fire is good for up close and mid range but quick allows you to throw far and when thrown it goes in an ark so your able to throw while behind cover. When you blind throw behind cover you end up hitting the cover in front of you. I love this it's great for ink grenade.

good tips :) unfortunately, I'm losing interest in gears3. Don't know what its like in the states, but in the UK, Ranked waiting times are ridiculous, and when you join quick match, there's no sign of dedicated servers, so the match quality is also ridiculous.
