Willbru89 is correct about Nitti living however he didn't run anything, Frank Nitti was the figure-head just like Sam Giacana after him niether one ran the Outfit- The answer to who did is... Paul Ricca, Don't know who he is? That was the point- Paul Ricca and Joey Batts switched job titles often but never Boss (Giacana and Nitti) and they controlled the Outfit from the end of Capone's era until the 90's.
Frank "The Enforcer" Nitti killed himself in Sicillian tradition.
anyone notice how much style and class the 1920,s gangsters had wish the hooded gangs today would learn from capone and nitti they were top notch in their time what i dont get is we are in the 21st century yet our gangs today dress in ragsdoesnt make sense to me
@shredmaster100 i completely agree with you.Even i think the same thing.I mean how much classic standard they were having like mobster like tuxedo along with long coats and hats
yeah man i dont want to have to meet gangs in the street but if you saw gangs dressed like capones gang it would be nicer than seeing a bunch of 12 year old punks with hoods over thier heads wearing jogging bottoms i dont understand why people in the 20,s dressed smarter than today u would think it would be the other way round
Gosh! Thank you. This film is pure charisma. Scary actors more real than the personnages themselves and then that music.... Amazing clip. Good job indeed.
@MissMeow316 I'd describe him as creepy looking. Watching this as a kid I hated Nitti. The way he talked, his pointy nose, he was like a slivering snake. But now I love Nitti, he's so fucking evil and cool. I even have a framed 8x10 of him on my wall. His son who is also an actor looks and talks EXACTLY like him, he's an exact replica of his dad only younger. Watch him in 80s horror movie 976-Evil.
I really like this alternate version of Nitti in this movie, He's soo diffrent from the real one. Real Nitti hated dirty work and this one is pulling triger with the smille on his face. I really like the idea of turning Nitt in this pure evil;]
the real thing is that Nitti shoot himself in 1943 while waiting trial for tax evation, it didn't happen like Brian de palma says in the Untouchables...
Two things...

Nitti killed himself, because he didn't want to do time like capone for taxes that was the only thing they could get him or capone on was taxes.
