  • This all relates back to the very constructs of our socio economic system just think about the fact that a paper rectangle (money) is more important than the 1 billion people starving on this planet and yes that's a real statistic from the un

  • @mccainisthroughX,

You ARE a chickenshit coward!! Hey, chickenshit, I'm going to post on threads that are very similar to yours, threads which the YouTube search algorithm bundles together with yours, threads which aren't yours and which you can't fucking edit. I will cut and paste YOUR words, and I will show what a stupid, pathetic, unprincipled petulant little spineless hypocritical idiot you are.

    Thank you.

  • Michael Moore is my hero!! He's on our side like no one else is!! :)

  • Mr. Moore, You are way behind Slovenia

  • My two favorite Democrat's ever!

  • The joke about Michael looking like Ben Afleck was great. :))

  • @SystemSlave40 He's a rich business man as well.

  • @SystemSlave40 Well you must be a millionaire from all those 10,000 dollar checks you've gotten for the lies you've exposed.

  • The frightening thing is that knee jerk reactionary non-intellectual zealotrous nutbags will of course jump on him as un-american - communist - satan himself etc... and why ? - because he uncovers the "snakes" under their rocks and points out what they do and who they are - and why they are ruining things and creating calamities etc...

I wish there were more Michael Moore's in the world - exposing even more bizarre things in modern society for what they really are.

  • @SALESPRODUCTIONS "Zealotrous"? is that even a word? Why do liberal people feel compelled to load a statement up with adjectives and other unrelated emotional banter? Your point is lost in attempting to look intelligent.

  • @Krusen72 He ment zealous, he mearly wrongly assumed it's spelling in the grammatical context. Zelous also is not an emotional word. And we don't use them to be smart, we use them because they are consie. There's a word limit, so why should we elongate our statements so that you can keep up?

  • @Krusen72 Sorry i ment Concise

  • @malanare How do you know what he meant? Also, re-read my post. Zealous (in any spelling) is an adjective. Speaking of such, if you're going to try to give me an English lesson at least throw in a spell check. I don't believe your numerous spelling errors had anything to do with word count or SP's post for that matter. Finally, your comment on trying to keep up is laughable. Get your 8th grade teacher to proof your comment before posting next time. That is all child.

  • @Krusen72 First of all i'm not in year 8. Second it doesn't matter if it's an adjective, i never contested that. I said it wasn't emotional banter, so good job with your year 4 comprehension. Attacking me personaly and not my argument is childish and pathetic. You question my english skills, but if a primary school teacher was given such a personal, unfounded argument. They'd fail you. If you have anything else to say, i'd love to debunk it as well. Your such a poor opponent.

  • @malanare You're irrational and a waste of my time. Happy Holidays, please go bother someone else.

  • @Krusen72 Irrational I'm the only one who provided evidence. And a waste of time, all my comments were responses to YOURS. So yeah, gj bullshiting your a hypocrite and i can't waste the worthless. Gg failure. Ps keep blindly insulting me it's sure to support your case. Sad

  • @Krusen72 Oh and Good job hiding your obvious concession. I'm losing this game i started, so 'i'm gonna be a poor loser, have a cry and quit.'

  • We could have a president that is hired based upon qualifications and experience not on who they know in the oil industry or if they were Hollywood actors.

  • We could have two Presidents working together.

    Maher and Moore.

Rolls off the tongue pretty nicely.

  • I was over in the States and Canada in 2007. They wanted $350 up front for me to see a doctor in an ER. I flew back to the UK 2 days later and was treated for free because that is what I pay my taxes for. BTW I was getting taxed 30% off the bottom line in Canada !! Don't ever wish the American healthcare system on the UK (or any other country with a decent healthcare system - France,Spain,Cuba,Australia,New Zealand, etc etc etc!!!). Mike is just Corn-fed !! Check out the mid-west women! XXXL

  • give me more MOORE

  • Isn't it apparent based upon the statements of individuals of diverse age, race, wealth, & political opinions that Michael Moore creates truth out of his own personal agenda?

Men & women all over the country have gone on record to prove that Moore uses fancy film editing techniques & spoofed statistics for decades to sway the opinions of the ignorant.

This man has been CAUGHT, but people continue to buy into the bullshit that he creates. Anyone with an open mind will discover Moore is a LIAR.

  • Moore and Maher are deep throating each other on this one...

  • AL Goore is a Capitalist Dictator that made money and ran many false claims and should be hung for Treason.Global Warming is Fake,it's a fact it's fake, and it only is a big brother style way of trying to help the One World Order Idea, and it also goes with the idea of loss of liberty, and freedom. Not to mention our Capitalism Is screwed up, and ran by criminals. People NEVER TAKE A RFDI CHIP, they are not good& =Complete control, because Goore & Busher & Oblama & staffs r Working towards Chain

  • @databasemaster3 hahahahahahaha wow you fucking nutcase. Take a chill pill and relax, man, because you're one sentence or two short of a mental problem.

  • Look at the pathetic expression on this fat self loathing piece of shits face.

  • Michael Moore... A true American.

  • @st1dinoh how fake?

  • @oneswinter

yeah, fake, lies, spin, bullshit propaganda and drama whoring by presenting facts in a misleading way...

    call it whatever you want.

moore is a jumbo sized bag of douche and i hope he dies in a fire.

  • @st1dinoh

    Hey!!

    Wishing DEATH on someone!

You must be a right wingnut Repugnican!

Only in Duhmurka could wish the death of someone who is actually fighting FOR them!!

Luckily only 4% of people who watched this gave it a thumbs down.

So that is pretty good odds that morons like yourself might be thinned out from the breeding stock of time due to evolution!

(yes. evolution. another fact you likely want to kill over)

  • @st1dinoh U do know America is the only westernised country left with this system

  • @matt52066 Are you really so superficial that you can't see past his weight to hear his important message?

  • Was it only me who cried when I saw this movie (just watched it)? I really feel sad now. Decent hard working people going permanently ill or dying even though they could be healthy and provide for their family and for society.

  • bill smokes so much dope, that his ignorancy of 9//11, hey Bill aircraft fuel is JP8 aviation fuel, other words a refined clean diesel. you can get a glass of this fuel and put a match in it and it will put the match out. Bill go get educated biy your ignorant

  • @BigBry49

And this means that a skyscraper wont fall because a fucking aircraft flew inside it? Seriously people dont you know ANYTHING about physics?

  • @LordSande

The common argument is that the damage produced by a plane colliding with the steel core of the World Trade Center would not produce a symmetric fall that resembles a planned demolition and proceeds at free fall speed.

The building may very well fall just because a plane hit it...but it won't be graceful.

    That's physics for you.

  • @LordSande You don't! The firemen called down and said it wasn't bad and they could put it out. The JP8 would have been smothered because it is like diesel fuel. You sure don't know anything about physics or anything about chemistry. What do you think they put in an aircraft gasoline? It sure, couldn't melt steel girders in 55 minutes. Not in your world or mine. Check out 911truth.org

  • @BigBry49 I'll sum up the "truthers" position, "We understand nothing about foreign policy, engineering, aeronautics, terrorism, disaster control, human psyche under stress...but we know more than the experts and we can see through their deception. We are deluded, everyone of our crucial claims has be disproven to have any merit what so ever but we can easily attribute that to those people be in on the conspiracy and it's just the man trying to keep us down, man."

  • micheal moore is a prime example of what it means to be a patriotic american.

  • What happens with american people?. Why are the media so tamed to power?. Change your mind please and look to the world. Thanks Michael for your work, you are doing the work that is journalist´s responsibility. Regards from the Basque Country.

  • i feel for americans for having such a shitty healthcare system, but i resent michael for making slovenia look bad. i come from sloveina and from what i've seen in this film, our system is 100x better that american! michel did us injustice with his comment.

and isn't if funny that medicine is cheaper in cuba than in the us? a so called third world country. it looks to me like the american citizens are slaves to their government. sad!

  • I live in England and hope to move to Slovenia this summer. Your country sounds really beautiful and there are no jobs in England now because of the credit crunch. I too find it strange that the richest country in the world (USA) has a system where healthcare is given out according to wealth and not need. Some Americans seem worried that any example of the goverment helping poor people is socialism....

  • I believe that arrr we're arrrr sick arrrr because arrrr of the arrr food arrr we eat arrrr.

    Speech deficiency... arrr....

  • Doctors make 40% of all health care costs in the U.S. for the past 25 years. Not too much discussion about how that never changes.

  • And you got this infromation from where? Funny, the docs I know, including my brother, don't come close to making what you are claiming. Link to your facts, please? I think you are being quite ignorant.

  • and before anybody answer me, let me tell you.

I DO NOT CARE.. keep your system, capitalism whatever, i'il take good old europe over us anytime..

You can't have a streaker in a game, or janet showing a nipple the whole country goes paranoid. Europe still has a sense of humor. talk about liberty. Live events are delay by how many seconds now?! sigh...

  • It's ok, son, Islam will straighten you guys out.

  • I hope you know that Europe uses Capitalism too.....

  • mericans love to talk about socialism and governnment debt, but isn't the US the country with the biggest debt in the planet

  • I "Wtf'd?" at these comments, Even after everything the guy showed in the movie people are still like "SOCIALISM IN MEDICINE IS BAD...BUT I DUNNO WHAT ITS LIKE TO NOT HAVE IT WORK OUT FOR ME ATLEAST A BIT" Its like almost ignorant but understandable.

...For those who didn't watch it just fucking torrent it in 3 hours...

  • Michael Moore is a true American..Fuck The Haters!!!!!

  • Everyone needs to see SiCKO. If you can't buy it, because you lost all your money to a hospital bill, steal it. I don't think Mr. Moore will have a damn problem with it.

  • i love merck pharmaceuticals

  • I have an idea, Moore could donate all of his profits from this movie to helping people without healthcare. Oh now wait, he doesn't want to give his money, he wants us to give ours.

  • Yep, the system he hates so much made him millions. And he doesn't complain about that.

  • Actually, he donated 12,000$ so the wife of the guy who runs the biggest anti-Moore site can live. Since it's in the movie I assume you haven't even seen it. You may find out that getting yourself some intel before opening your mouth might prevent you from making uneducated comments in the future.

  • Yeah, and I'm sure he did that out of the goodness of his heart too. That wasn't a publicity stunt or anything, I'm sure. Oh wait, that's why it was in the fucking movie in the first place- so he can win over simple minded, mouth breathing Obama worshippers. Change! Yaaay!

  • The Health Care System does need some reform, like the ones denying claims and whatnot, but do we need to go Universal? I don't think so. What's to say the Govt wouldn't do the same damn thing as the Health Insurance Companies, after all, they have to raise money too.

How about we institute more accountability instead.

I personally refuse to get Health Care Insurance and pay the high premiums and just put the money into a Savings Account. At least I know I can get my money when I need it.

  • government healthcare doesnt have to make a profit, government provides lots of service not for profit simply because its the right thing to do

  • Government Health Care doesn't have to make a profit but it still costs money and money has to come from somewhere, and where they fall short, they'll just embed it into your taxes. Every service provided by Government has to be paid by someone, the taxpayers. In essence, the taxpayers will pay, and the people who don't pay taxes will abuse. So essentially, you'll have 30% of the population subsidizing the other 70%. You call that efficiency?

Govt Health Care will cost way more than private

  • how do you reconcile the fact that americans spend the most per capita out of all the industrialized countries yet they ranks 37th, and just about all the countries ahead if not all have socialized medicine

  • First of all, I don't accept your premise that America is the 37th, it was clearly ranked by people with political agendas who have biases b/c of their ideology.

Now that said, what you should be asking are these questions, why are the best doctors in America? Why do Americans get treatment quickly? Why is America innovating more drugs for the whole world to live on than any country w/ socialized medicine? Why do people come to America when they really want quality health care?

  • We are not agruing about the type of health care we have here. We great doctors but our access to these doctors is crap you cant see every doctor if you have Blue Cross/Shield, not every doctor takes every HMO the transfer of documents is nearly impossible when you travel because of privatized health care. We wait for our treatment too, maybe not as long as some countries but we still wait. People come to America because we do have good doctors but as ppl of the USA we dont have access to them

  • Ok, fine, so we should implement a Govt run System and wait even longer for treatment? How do people from other countries come in here and gain access to our doctors, but US Citizens can't? You're not making any sense now.

You think HMOs are bad? Single Payer Health Care System is one big fat fuckin' HMO.

45% of the doctors will quit if we pass a Single Payer System, at the same time, you're adding Millions to the Coverage. Tell me, how is that going to work out?

  • If one needs a transplant, but it's not an emergency situation, one would wait weeks to get it done under the Private Health Care System as opposed to YEARS under a Single Payer Health Care System.

  • lol shows how much you know . Organ transplants take a very long time . they are not easy to come by . some who has to die first and be a good match with blood type and even size .

  • And what the hell do you know? If they already have the organ that matches the blood type and size, they can begin the procedure rather quickly. It's not a "it takes a very long time" issue, it's actually more of a "it depends" issue.

  • LMAO...years? You know nothing.

  • Right, I only live near the Canadian border, father is a doctor, uncles are doctors, and have relatives who have lived in Canada and Great Britain, so I absolutely know nothing. LMFAO.

  • The question is real simple, you can ask yourself and you ask Michael Moore, if you or someone you know needed a kidney transplant, would you get it done in America or in fuckin' Cuba? When you answer that question, then we'll know where you really stand.

  • Is it fair that he/she could need the kidney, but not be able to get it because he/she doesn't have insurance, or does have insurance but the insurance company wriggle out of it?

Free Health care at the point of delivery, is the only civilized way to do it.

  • Listen to your own bullshit. Number 1, you think Universal Health Care is free? Who's going to pay for the doctors, surgery, equipment, etc.? Number 2, what makes you think you're going to get the kidney under a Government Rationing Body? They'll put you on a waiting list for 2 years to get the kidney if you're lucky. If you're not dead by then, best of luck on suing the Govt. doctor should he botch the job.

  • Well the rest of the civilised world uses taxes to pay for Universal Health Care free at the point of delivery.

You have a rationed system, by ability to pay, and then you have the insurance companies quibbling while people die.

America shouldn't have one of the worst health care systems in the world, it should have one of the best.

Health care should be free at the point of delivery, for all, it's the only humane way to do it.

How it's done I'll leave up to good old American "cando".

  • Yes, and look how the rest of the civilized world compares to the U.S. Economy + Military. It's no coincidence that the more Socialist Policies we've adopted, the weaker our country and economy become w/ more trade + fiscal deficits.

As for a rationed system, you obviously have little to no knowledge of our system. Hospitals, by law, must care for any emergency patients, even illegal aliens.

If we're so bad, why does the world live off our drugs and why do the best doctors operate here?

  • If we're going to talk about rationing by ability to pay, then let's take it a step further, the Government should provide everyone a house, a car, a computer, jewelry, etc. I mean, hey, rationing by ability to pay, that's not fair at all, right? We shouldn't have to pay for anything, so we shouldn't have to work either, work should be something people do by choice, am I right?

  • @dicendimes LOL , you are so gay, talking about equity and equality when all you mean to say is so what if other people suffer and die as long as I dont, probably a christian! Amen!

  • @ca34jun Number 1, I don't have Health Insurance. Number 2, I don't want Government to give me Health Insurance and force me to pay taxes for it. If I wanted Health Insurance, I would buy it, but b/c I don't want it, I don't buy it.

People will suffer and die if the Government takes over the Health Care industry, you fuckin' idiot. If you have a population that believes that the Health Care they receive is free, you're going to have a problem with high demand and lack of supply.

  • Because I'm sure the vast majority of Europeans have died from their governments socialized health care.

Your conclusion doesn't really help to explain how the most socialized European countries happen to be among the highest on the Human Develop Index as well as the highest in Social Mobility.

  • @dicendimes You have to understand that some of the health care in US are the best in the world, but it is unavailable to 95% of the americans. Canada will pay for the operation and the american company that runs the hospital will make a profit. That's market ecomomy for you, if your rich. :)

  • @andenils Care to explain where you got the number 95% of Americans who don't get the health care? Illegal Aliens even get health care in America, what the hell are you smoking?

You don't like market economy, do you prefer a Government Economy who picks and chooses who gets care and who doesn't?

The difference between the 2 is simple, in one economy, money talks, in the other, you just shut the fuck up and do what you're told and get what we say you get.

  • @dicendimes EU get lot and lots od poor people from africa and the middle east. One small town in Sweden (40 000 inhabitans) have recieved more Iraqi refugees than the whole US. Are you american? You don't know anything do nyou?

  • @andenils I understand that the EU gets lots of poor people, but they don't import them at the rate that we do. We have 20 - 30 Million Illegals in America. There isn't nearly as much incentive for Middle Eastern people to sneak into the EU as there is for Mexicans to sneak into America. The EU is a step above the Middle East, at least, it's not a dictatorship, but the difference between Mexico and America is pretty Black and White.

  • Mexican immigrants go to America to work hard and live the American dream. Europes immigration is messed up because we're getting crazed muslims trying to change the way we live.

  • Some of them come to work hard and live the American Dream. Some come to freeload off our system, some come here to work and make money and take it back to Mexico, as the Dollar is far greater in value compared to the Peso.

Some of them are also trying to change the way we live, by refusing to assimilate and learn the English language.

However, I would rather take an illegal immigrant Mexican over an illegal immigrant Muslim any day of the week.

  • @KevD08 what do U mean that U are getting crazed Muslims .... is it from Europe? we hope U could do with them because we hate them in Europe

  • our healthcare would be paid by taxes like all the other country and in your number 2 point you talk about the government denying the people and you bring up waiting list, two key facts that on multi-surfaces, we wait for transplants all the time and denying also happens everyday and in our privatized healthcare system, with the government we wouldnt be turned down we would pay for what we get which we dont currently

  • Well, you're damn right we're going to be paying for it in taxes, which is why we can't even opt out of it if we think the Health Care Service of the Govt sucks and want to buy our own Private Insurance. This bill is nothing but a tax and spend bill.

Is increasing taxes a good idea during one of the worst recessions since 1983? Who's going to pay for this shit? Govt is 12 Trillion in the hole.

In a Govt System, if you get a flu, you're lucky to see the doctor in the same day.

  • Bill Maher for President 2012!!

  • People like Moore and Maher should run our country

  • omg, that would make me actually PROUD to be american. oh well...

  • our too :/

  • People who know what problems are and know how do fix them should run your country, not specifically Moore and Maher, since they could be great comedians, critics, but they could suck at running the government. And well all the citizens should be like Moore and Maher. Smart people who see the problems.

  • @mystishae17 I could not agree more. I think Sicko is Michael Moore's best film ever. The healthcare industry in this country sucks. The insurance companies are evil to drop people just to maxamize profits. The NHS in England works and America should have that system.

  • @mystishae17 A socialist and a libertarian? Hmm...

  • Michael Moore secretly enjoyed it when the terrorists attacked on 9/11. Michael Moore is a hypocrite who has stocks in a capitalist market and he supports capitalism. He is a closet capitalist who is profiting off stupid socialists and liberals who buy his material. He has found a niche market to sell to but in real life he is a true capitalist and a liar. Islam encourages mosques to be built on sites of conquer. Robert Spencer has info on the ground zero mosque issue.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails I don't have boots that high!!!

  • @mystishae17 keep dreamin! i know i will. jon stewarrt too! and richard dawkins and sam harris. oh yes. the end of bullshit as we know it!

  • @mystishae17 I disagree.

  • Love you Mike!!! you are truly the best!

  • I love a lot of things about America but their healthcare system sucks......

  • "Should be an embarrassment for a lot of Americans???"

That is why people HATE AMERICANS because of this stupid commentaries.

Ashame that other countries are better in some aspects than Americans?

WELL...GET USE TO IT!! ...you are not the best, and you should not feel ashame!

YOU SHOULD JUST LEARN FROM OTHERS AND STOP THINKING THAT YOUR SHIT DOESNT SMELL!

Embarrassed? COME ON!!! F...You! LEARN and thats it...do you know that in Vienna we have the best city transport? ashame? learn!

  • what is the point of that really... your not saying anything except for hate.. no good reason on why you think these people suck... you suck cause you are nothing more than and energy vampire... now go hate some more so you can feel better about your self..

  • You know, I've been reading comments from Americans for some time. Canada has it's problems but I see comments from American like "there is no aspect of America that seems to work" (see Stormwerm). Just a thought but I notice America is set up to be "just about me" (e.g. individual freedoms)and "it's all about money". Maybe a change of overall focus may provide some of the answers. It's different here - the Canadian culture is different enough that universal health care works here.

  • Are you a racist, im not I love all people of different ethnicities, but i think obama will not win, not just cuz he is black he and mcCain have diff opinions.

  • I'm not even black dude chill

  • damn you are infinitely stupid

  • omg you are what is wrong with this country.. you red neck

  • There's no aspect of america that works properly, hard to imagine how it would be possible to fix the system.

  • Open question to Americans. Seriously, do Americans really believe the garbage they are being told by their leaders about the Canadian Health Care system? I am over 60, lived in Canada all my life, have had some health problems, and have been looked after when needed, by a doctor or hospitial of my choice and never paid a dime. For the life of me, I can't realistically understand why the Canadian system is considered inferior to the US Health services in any area.

  • The difference between a good social health care plan and a bad one is the government that administers it. There is no way we can trust the U.S. Federal government do that properly.. they have Zero credibility with the people.

  • i actually dont know anyone who actually has a brain that thinks our health care system i mean if someone is rich in our country its amazing but how you said you got looked after without giving a dime to me thats unheard of in the US

  • some people do... because the news stations just repeat it time and time again the same crap that canadian healthcare is horrible and that the us's is awesome... cnn, fox news, etc.

  • They can't help it....it's being forced-fed to them and they can't see around it because they don't travel outside their own backyards(most of them). I'm Canadian too and have NEVER had to pay OR wait for any healthcare. I've had wonderful doctors and hospitals here all my life...free operations, child birth, emergency treatments, doctors appointments. I love it here and IT IS WORTH MY PAYING TAXES TO GET IT, A HUNDRED TIMES OVER.

  • American's watch entirely too much TV and so yes there are many who believe what we're being told. Many of us also believe that an aknowledgment that America has it's faults is base treason. Not all of us do though. :( I want to move there but my cruddy American education isn't good enough to find work there. Perhaps after a few more semesters . . .

  • Not sure why people hate Michael Moore so much. Now they're loving him? Let's just agree that he gets us to think and he's not a COMPLETE bullshitter. Honestly, even if only half the things about Bush in "Farenheit 9/11" were true it would still make Michael a hero for bringing them up.

  • That's the first time i ever heard michael moore make SENSE!!! holy shit.

  • I second that. Up until now I thought Michael Moore was a complete ass.

  • omg you are still voting with in the 2 party system... ron paul would be the best for us as a country...but anyways keep watchin your tv and vote between the 2 candiates the media elected

  • Mike Moore is a stupid fat ass who needs to look at the other side of certain issues and understand them before he jumps to conclusions.

  • How is that true? Do you even watch his shit to get a grasp on it? He looks at the issues in Sicko from a fucking Guantanamo Bay stand point, you fucking idiot.

  • His ideas on universal healthcare explains enough. Maybe you should do some research hm?

  • ok so his ideas are universal healthcare for americans who have little to know money and go bankrupt from bills, hmm sounds good to me.

  • His ideas aren't alone for the poor, stop looking up biast reports. You should know both sides of the story before you jump to a conclusion- You're doing exactly what mr. moore is doing, jumping to the conclusion that american needs universal healthcare and that it benefit EVERYONE.

  • It DOES benefit everyone! Anyways I'm done arguing with you, you're probably the son of a fucking rich white politician

  • If it benefitted everyone I wouldn't be here ranting about Mike Moore, there would be no cause for debate...

  • Dude, because of his 911 film and conspiracies, i HATED moore.

I love bill because he's true to humanity and reality.

BUT, wow. what moore was saying about health care in this country is true, and FACTUAL (more importantly). I can't believe i was actually enjoying a michael moore conversation. We seriously need to fix our health care system.

  • We do need to fix our healthcare system, and the solution he provides and supports is not the best solution for this country. There must be a better healthcare policy to fix our current system rather than the quick fix that's apparently worked for every other country.

  • jump to conclusions? you mean looking at facts and making judgements based upon them

  • Yes, I do mean looking at the beneficial facts and making judgements only based upon them. Maybe look at the negative facts, or the other side of the story and make logical justifications about them?

  • i hate him

  • vote gore.

  • Michael Moore should do a film with John Pilger, it would be great.

  • I like mike....not so sure about bill.

  • Nice Job Mike

  • bill maher is cool

  • self loathing millionaire fat ass

  • i think he is right about all this and i agree with him but i wanna know his input on his role in team america lol. :)

  • moore should back ron paul not the other robots he thinks will help, but then again moore is for immigration and ron paul wants to give us our country back on that issue , moore has some great points and i am happy about sicko but he needs to wake up on other issues

  • FLINT MICHIGAN IS PROUD OF YOU MICHAEL MOORE!

RYAN EASHOO has your back in FLINT!

  • Thank you Ron Paul for your support of Loose Change and Alex Jones....Vote for Ron Paul for 911 Truth!!! Bush was behind 911!!

  • Gore for president. I agree Mr. Moore.

  • I hope this movie does more than his other movies...

    911- War still going on.

Bowling- Kids still getting shots with guns. V tech.

Roger and Me- Jobs still going elsewhere.

I know he mentions this in the interview but the applauding almost makes how little has been done that much more sad.... I hope people decide to start voting for people who will change this..

  • "we have a poor education system,, we have shown to have poor management in iraq, we have a terrible border situation, what makes you think a health care system will be beneficial to those who need it"

Not a good analogy. Inner city public education is still a hell of a lot better than no education at all.

  • i hope he make one about 9/11 being an inside job

  • he better. 9/11 the worlds worst cover up.

  • Its MOORE than important it's got and have to be! WE THE PEOPLES...

  • And if the poor voted more then who would they vote for.WE need radical changes.every one should vote.1st vote is paper ballots.

  • Agreed. But rather than voting on political "candidates" who typically turn against "We The People" in the end, we need to devise and install ways for citizens to "vote" directly on the issues that affect their lives -- thus eliminating the "representative" middle-man. Sound far-fetched? When did you last visit Google, or Wikipedia? And speaking of Wikipedia, look up "The Wisdom of Crowds". Properly applied, such a concept could bring down the house of corporate tyranny.

  • someone needs to bomb american HMO's. America, the land of the shit and the fucking shit of the world.

  • Socialism is a dangerous road of losing individuality.with proper methods universal health care would cost less than the current system.without losing our freedoms.

  • I agree, logerhead. So consider a line of thinking known as "Economic Democracy", which seems to be gaining support. Political democracy is hollow without economic democracy. But, by definition, such an ideal requires active participation from "American" workers in the decisions that directly affect their lives. Slave-labor bills like the Taft-Hartley Act must be repealed, as they conflict with important principles of democratic society. See Wikipedia for details.

  • davidkendall.YES!reason in a time of insanity is quite refreshing.we need more info and direction in using our voting power to acomplish such a prospect.

  • davidkendall-Correct in his comments. But to fix the problem will be far short of a miracle. The extremely wealthy will not give up without a fight.

  • Aahh...those damn wealthy! Don't ya just hate people who work hard and prosper? Of course it's the wealthy's fault! Let's not blame it on the obese and the corrupt. It's a problem at alot of levels, but hey to keep dumping everything on the wealthy as the villian is a sad non productive comment.

  • mwhitt2002.you lack understanding the poor control nothing, the rich control everything by process of owning everything.and who puts a price on products?we are taught to consume.who does that benefit.

  • logerhead, you are right.I do lack the understanding that the poor control nothing. They control their votes, their lives, their decisions, their hopes and dreams. And you never take away a man's dreams, that may be all he has. I grew up poor, never listened to anyone who said I couldn't succeed and am now ridiculed as not understanding the poor. I understand the poor, but you don't understand me. Don't under estimate the poor my friend, this country was built on dreams.

  • I came from a communist country with 3 older brothers i know poor. Its not an offense to be poor but reality is what it is.The rich control the computer voting machines.

  • Regardless of how MrTwitt deliberately twists your words, Loger, I am forced to agree with him in some sense. As over 99% of the population, workers do have the potential to control literally all the resources. But as you suggest, the leading reasons they don't include disorganization, apathy, and fear, as indoctrinated by the corporate influence in federal legislation and public media.

  • But, as BoomTown observes, "American" workers are also consumers. As such, they(we) have some behemoth potential for leverage in the democratic discussion. Dr. Martin Luther King termed this brand of leverage -- "economic withdrawal" -- the day before he was shot. When the time comes, it's gonna be a rough one, folks. Nobody said it'd be easy.

  • Well, I don't think capitalism is bad, but unbridled competition is. At the end of teh day, money is the motivator, and profit is the drive. So quality would suffer if companies had their way. If you work hard, you have the right to proportionally gain for your efforts, but companies do provides services to the public, on which the public is dependent. Thus, I think companies shouldn't jack up prices unreasonably. How are people being screwed? PACs
