Bach was a sincere Christian, he is quoted as saying: " At a reverent performance of music, God is always at hand with His gracious presence." For Bach the great doctrines of the Reformation were not dry formulas, but living truths. Praise God for Godly music such as this.

Air in G is actually my favorite piece of music of the entire world musical history, the Great Spiral Galaxy of Andromeda is an icon, I feel utter reverence and wonder every time I see it, and the Moon is actually the celestial body to which I'm most"connected" (i was born on a monday, among other lunatic associations).So is no wonder I feel so atracted by this little Masterpiece you have created.
