Say what you want but they're the only good thing about this movie. Ryan so made it his own and Jessica's always hot. There really wasn't anything special Wesley or the writers brought to the storyline other than the introduction of the new characters. I wish they would of made the spin-off Night Stalkers film, with Ryan and Jessica as the leads and Morbius as the enemy. If the script was written correctly and they had a pretty good budget, I believe the film would of probably done really well.

If humans can fight vampires the way the nightstalkers do then what purpose does Blade serve?

I dont really think its a matter of needing side kicks, I think it was the way they were poorly handled(like the entire movie) As Hannibal King was a friend of Blade in the comics, but he was more like Whistler (Whistler, as cool as he was, was not in the comics) He also had friend named Frank Drake(a descendent of Dracula) Frank was like Simon Belmont(minis the wip) Gabrielle Wistler was supposed to be based on Rachel Van Helsing, but Goyer found out about the movie Van Helsing, and said no
(part 2) hell if you ask me, if they were to take the Dracula from Van Helsing, give him a broad sword, put him in Blade Trinity, cast some one else as King and Gabby Whistler(or Rachel Van Helsing) they should have read some of the 1970s tomb of dracula comic books and used those for some iideas. but we got this, they should reboot the Blade Franchise, but use abit of the old trilogy, but use more from the comics(Im already writign a possible script, lets hope the dudes at marvel like it)
