My sister was on that plane as a flight attendant praise god she is fine but does she did have a hard time getting back on a plane. but I am so grateful she was okay. I went through the worry of the ground zero incident, I am so glad my daughter who again was a flight attendant at that time and my sister was okay on those flights also, I am just so glad God had it all in his control. Moron isn't a nice thing to say, but, I just thank God they were all okay. and it best not happen again!
For anyone that works on the airfield which I do, one important factor I notice is that there was only one wingwalker in place and all of a sudden you see another run out if they had been in place they could have flag the a380 down to avoid a collision
You morons. Have you ever seen the "glass cockpit" of an Airbus A380? Airmchair traffic controllers! The A380 has live cctv cameras feeding the flight deck crew with video of the exterior from a top-of-tail view. The pilots shold have been able to see the potential for collision. ENUF SAID!
since you guys sorta know alot about planes. can you guys answer what was the cause of the collision? i don't know. might hav been the ute that cut the smaller plane to a halt
@xxDanbyxx um, actually not... the video says clearly: "This is an Embraer regional jet" at 0:41 and Embraers are ERJ, Bombardiers CRJ. And well this here is an Embraer because the wingtips are sharp and straight not bent upwards like the CRJ 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 900 and 1000 (basically, all the CRJ series)
@highvoltagedrummer1 It is a shame that Comair, the operator of the aircraft in question, only operates CRJ-100s, -700s, and -900s. In fact, Comair dba Delta Connection has NEVER operated an Embraer aircraft.
@redlegsfan21 ok, I will be honest: I'm not american, I don't live in America, and I don't know ANYTHING AT ALL about Delta or Comair, etc. but I'm totally sure that this is NOT a bombardier CRJ-700, 900, NOR 100 (except if comair got rid of the wingtips of all it's planes)
@highvoltagedrummer1 If you don't know anything about an airline in question, don't act like you know everything about its fleet. Your comment is completely incorrect.
@BobWeaver112 I did not say that I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING about airlines, I just sayed that I don't know anything about delta or comair... and I don't act that I know everything about planes. I just sayed what I thought and that's why there is commenting on youtube: to share your thoughts and what you think about videos or parts of them. for sure I don't know as much about aviation as a real pilot... I'm just a normal person who just comments on a video posted on youtube.
@highvoltagedrummer1 Yea, someone who isn't American and one who posts outrageous things like Comair flying Embraer jets, and the existence of a CRJ-300, among other variants. Leave the facts to those of us who know them.
@redlegsfan21 sorry, I watched the original vid again and realized that the plane really IS a Bombardier CRJ-700... :/ the wingtips were just not visible at night here... lol I fail every day at something XD
@BobWeaver112 comair is not a manufacturar... it's the daughter firm of delta airlines that makes the regional flights, I beleave. And CRJ-700 is a Bombardier type. you could google the CRJ-700 and see that they're different than ALL the three planes shown at 0:41
@highvoltagedrummer1 I did not imply that Comair is an aircraft manufacturer. Comair is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta that operates flights under the Delta Connection brand. Comair exclusively uses a fleet of Bombardier CRJs of all variants. All of the aircraft parked at 0:41 are CRJs with maybe the exception of what looks to be an ERJ in the bottom left corner.
@BobWeaver112 sorry, I watched the original vid again and realized that the plane really IS a Bombardier CRJ-700... :/ the wingtips were just not visible at night here... lol I fail every day at something XD
@highvoltagedrummer1 There is no such thing as a CRJ-300, -400, -500, or -600. The devices on the ends of the wings on CRJs and certain ERJs are winglets; the wings aren't "bent upwards."
@BobWeaver112 firstly, there are crj 300, 400, 500 and 600! google it! there are pics... and I mean by "bent upwards" that the wings LOOK like they're like that. if you look at eg. a boeing 737-800, the wings look like they're bent upwards, but an airbus a321 has these winglets that look like they are seperate pieces...
@highvoltagedrummer1 Again, no such thing as a CRJ-300, -400, -500, or -600. Do yourself a favor and check Bombardier's website for real proof before making statements like that. Airbus' A320 series uses wing fences, not winglets.
@xxDanbyxx yes, I know and yes I do... Someone already responded to my comment about half a year ago -.- Maybe look for response comments first and then comment? Would save us both much time :P
I love how he points out that the A380 "Was Struck". Seems to me it was the other plane that was struck and the A380 that did the striking.

@rockinconcorde2
And why should it be cancelled? Exactly the same happened between a 777-300ER and a CRJ some weeks ago.
