Hello, I have a level 40 Ironbreaker and im having bad problems on how to 1V1 Blackorc/chosen/blackguard.

I cant beat a tank for the life of me... i need tips, Im vegeance spec and 55rr

Try speccing into GnM in the brotherhood tree, it will greatly improve your survivability. You should also pick up ES for great cc and burst.

If you check my vids you can see i posted a new stop hammertime vid where i go with a 13veng/15brotherhood spec, picking up GaM, Cave-in, GnM and ES.

I 1v1 a iron breaker once and we were both the same level (21) and i pretty much dominated him i guess it all depends on the person playing and which skill tree they went down and all that good stuff but we both used shields so eh i ono aha both pretty good classes but i'll always love my black orc <3

Hi there. Derngrad of Magnus, level 18 Ironbreaker. Just wanted to ask a simple question; do Ironbreakers get better at higher levels? It seems like Slayers and that lot are always taking threat when I tank, and I can never beat anybody 1 on 1. I'm a good player in all, and I'm in all the level 18 influence gear from Tier 2.

40 is where the game begins, get to 40 get your renown and play with it once you loot more pieces of armor (keep all tier4 unused armor in bank) you can play with stats etc.

well im lvl 16 ironbreaker i get high chance of killing people on 1v1 so.... u gotta costumize ur gear so u get the three stats for tanks

1. Strenght.. it gives you attack power....

2. Armor... it gives you more defence so that you will last longer.

2. Wounds... its another word for health. so when ur buying a new gear look for wounds. cuz its one of the most important stats.

u can also use ur morale abilities... they are one of the best abilities for the ironbreaker.

Far from dead, been playing Destro on Gorfang and Order on Badlands. Both running rapid with PQ groups and RVR to the brim. No... Trial is not dead, but I would highly suggest in getting the game. I quit my 3 year career in WoW as a Tauren Resto Druid just to come to War. Dwarves FTW.

Did you just say they are gimped in some ways? Ask any destro if they would take an Ironbreaker over a black guard (their mirror class) and every single one of the non retarded ones will say ironbreaker.

i play an ironbreaker too. great class - i prefer the sword and board approach to the two hander, but its nice to boost dps

that bo's would have moped you if he knew how to play. Donno if you need better gear or what.

He should have been knocking you back constantly to give his self heal more chances to proc. Also, when you knock back you taunt and then hit tree hit combo to get maximum damage from your highest damage attack. And honestly he should be using a two hander to take advantage of the knockdown to further increase his taunt damage.

but hey, I'm a min maxer and am a good bo :P

If he would have tried that he would have lost big-time, seeing as my 4s knockdown has a 20s cooldown, every time he would have knocked me away I would just have waited for it to come off cooldown and then hammered him to pieces.

And a 2H BO is MUCH weaker than one with shield. For him to use one would have just been stupid.

Don't forget we also have a knockdown. See when you are fighting an IB the name of the game is not killing the IB but living longer then the IB.

In order for that to work you have to constatly knock back and knock down the ib, not just to reduce the damage (because honestly it is a wash) but to make the fight last longer. The longer the fight lasts in a bo vs ib the greater the advantage the BO has because of the heal proc.

True, the longer it lasts while in combat. However the IB has a lot of dots and burst, meaning sporadic combat where the IB gets all its big moves off cooldown favors it. Run in, knockdown, burst, apply dots, get knocked away by the BO and then wait for the cooldowns to come off again.

I have fought BO's that knock me back and it just makes life a -lot- easier for me, the 1.2k heal is nowhere near enough to outheal the damage an IB can put in each run.
