when i read some of these comments here, i'm sadly reminded of one thing amin says during the interview...
(the following is not a quote but my opinion)... if only people could accept themselves as being simply normal people, like everyone else on this planet - and not being "the best". beside religion, national pride is one of the major reasons why there are so many international conflicts... so unnecessary and sad...
My parents are from Jordan and I'm watching it tomorrow in Brooklyn, NY. I can't wait to see it!!! Great to see creative stuff out of Jordan!!! Jordanian Pride!
Nadim Sawalha kicks ass! He's a brilliant actor. It's a shame he hasn't gotten more exposure as an actor. Most people just know him as Julia and Nadia Sawalha's dad. Still, pretty cool claim to fame!
i live in Canada but my backhome is Jordan,, iam so happy to see a jordanian movie although its too late to do so,and the director is a young man from Jordan iam so proud of him and i hope he will be a good sample for our Jordanian youths, go forward Jordan you will be always the best.. the movie seems nice and i hope to watch it soon
A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand(SORRY BOUT SPAM THIS REALLY FREAKS ME)
Being as though this is the Sundance Soft Porn channel I totally expected this to be about the old man molesting those kids... At last something my daughter of eight can watch. This is the first posting on this site of a film from this Sundance Film Festival 08 that didn't have something to do with sex, incest, crappy relationships or stale murder plots. It must be the snow in Utah and I'm not talking about the kind that falls from the sky.
What wonderful, kind men. They have made one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. Everyone should see this film. It is so important.
