Right and Wrong. Sagan obviously couldn't perceive a world without money, he always referenced wealth along with technology as benefits. He never conceived that wealth opposes technology and technology opposes wealth (when we define "wealth" as a relative position of being superior to others).

I resonate with everything Mr. Sagan is saying. I wish my friends and family understood. It's hard to live where I am when the people that are mostly physically present in my life tell me i'm wrong. I need a new beginning.

That is very true, yeah, we have been evolving very slowly and almost without having more than enough technology to quealquer problem or anything else we need. Science is slow and leaves many people with problems, we are in crisis worldwide, and even American capitalism has not served to raise the crisis she has a great nation with great wealth falls, the money is enslaving. This society, as I said in my class of English, this is a society that is sick and need cure. And project is the cure. :)

"The sun isn't much older". Earth 4.5 billion years : The Sun 13 billion years. not much older. Last year in Africa 2,000,000 years old skeletons were found, so humans are much longer on this planet than Carl Sagan thought...

This video claims neither, and is rather demonstrating that WE support what Carl Sagan has been saying all along. (In other words, we support Carl Sagan, not the other way around...) What we advocate is not impossible, so his "dreams" for a unified planet are indeed in line w/the aims & goals of The Zeitgeist Movement.

Right and Wrong. Sagan obviously couldn't perceive a world without money, he always referenced wealth along with technology as benefits. He never conceived that wealth opposes technology and technology opposes wealth (when we define "wealth" as a relative position of being superior to others).
He did, however, emphasize: One earth, One people, through Technology.

@FailBlob If you actually listen to what he's saying it's exactly what the Zeitgeist Movement is advocating, there's nothing far fetched about a Resource Based Economy. You make your own reality, if you say it's far fetched then you'll never see it. For me I'm there already, I grow some of my own food, looking to install green energy and tanks for collecting water and thinking of ways to use technology to simplify my life. We live in an RBE, or die in this reality.
