  • J'aime la voix de Phillipe ♥♥♥

  • J'aime

    la voix de Phillipe!!! ♥♥♥

  • I think serenaluce is secretly infatuated with PJ, and is profoundly angry at the impossibility of fucking him...

  • @proulxmontpellier OMG! Why do you think that all women can be infatuated with PJ?! Why do you think that I can't fuck somebody better? Perhaps for YOU I'm so old-fashioned, but I prefer MANLY men, and not anorexic sexless creatures who only can make touching faces and play with their soft fingers! What would I do in bed with such a BABY? Change his diapers and blow his nose? LOL If you don't have any MUSICAL arguments please don't make an ass of yourself. BTW, my husband is a MANLY man:-)

  • Fantastic! No concessions. Just the beautiful.

  • I'd rather think, instead, that real music lovers would be well advised to leave serenaluce (or should I write foscaluce) to her/his outdated rants.

  • The more I read serenaluce's comments (and some others) and the more I realise that some people never got over the sheer revolution that baroque music brought to the playing of ancient music. Ancient music, being mostly modal, has much more to do with pop, rock and jazz as modern "classical" music which is a parenthesis of tonality and late 19th century rules about as fllexible as the customs and dress of the people who devised them.

  • @proulxmontpellier What sheer revolution in baroque music? To "castrate" singing of any meaning and produce only sweet empty sounds and to amuse people with making big "innocent" eyes and play with PJ's manicured soft fingers? Foscaluce? LOL Do you call YOURSELF a real music lover?Who else? Those who are just brainwashed by PROMOTION that it's true baroque?Have you ever heard true OPERATIC COUNTERTENORS like Lemos,Cencic,Asawa,Taylor,White,Daniels,Sholl,Wong,Chance?Tell me how they are different

  • @proulxmontpellier i think this is a valid point, the formal structure & harmonic progression of baroque isn't present in these pieces. it reminds me of modern Latin music, some of it i can imagine on the streets of Argentina, altho not sure how "authentic" any of it is of course. love the ancient instruments tho and the fact that everyone looks like they were having so much fun.. there was a rich classical music tradition before opera seria & it's great we can all discover it today :)

  • great stuff

  • Aah I love The King's Singers. This whole CD is amazing! Happy to have the dvd too.

  • Heavenly. A great gift. Thank you.

  • This is so close to heaven !!!

  • so clear and transparent. Just wonderful.

  • Ah, all the PJ haters teamed up again it seems.

You are of course entitled to your opinion, but please, stop and ask yourself WHY it is that you hate this man so much? From reading comments that speak derogatory of his" feminine manicured hands" or someone " who just chooses to sing without his balls" I cannot help but detect a little genderbias, but wel, that may be just my opinion.

  • PJ is pure pop here just as he is in all of his concerts and recordings.

  • @arpeggio1358 So where are your examples of other "pop" singers pulling of endless sequences of fast 16th notes like one finds in the many Vivaldi arias he has recorded? Also keep in mind that in the baroque era, baroque music WAS popular music...

  • Serenaluce just hates him because she thinks he's gay. That's why she has no real arguments.

The boy has an exceptional set of vocal chords, and that puts him just outside the conventional countertenor range. That does not mean he is a bad countertenor. He is just different, with a different timbre. All the technique in the world (which he has!) cannot change that. And so he is low in testosterone...so what? At least he'll keep a full head of hair!

  • @carolineleiden This is ridiculous. Serenaluce has never expressed ANY anti-gay sentiments. You're just making up excuses. She's a friend of mine and she doesn't have an anti-gay bone in her body. She has only commented that PJ sings in a pop style. I agree with her 100% about this. PJ is a pop singer who sings classical/opera material. After viewing many videos on PJ, I also conclude that that he cannot sing without a mic. No classical/opera singer uses a mic.

  • @carolineleiden It would be wise, dear friend, to read more carefully other people's comments. And, I think, biology, hormones and sexual orientation is the least of concerns when it comes to Mr. Jaroussky's singing.

We all know that in showbiz (and IT IS showbiz), it all has to do with promotion, many many times beyond talent.

Yet, there are those who favour mr. Jaroussky's singing. It obviously makes some people happy; some others, not.

    Thank you.

  • hehe I LOVE IT ! especially in paradiso

  • @serenaluce It seems you are copying this same bash text everytime you encounter Jaroussky.

Could you please at least change arguments? These are plain idiot words you got somethwhere from a stupid intellectual music critic so it would be interesting to see if you could come with something more interesting. Not that we care...

  • @bafdias Dear, you are flattering me that I copy it from an intellectual music critic:-). You will be very disappointed to know that these are my own thoughts:-). Music critics now seem to all degradate too just to praise this sexless creature singing in falsetto in an absolutely FLAT voice who disguises it only with his feminine fingers, and sound professionals only amplify his empty trills and create an illusion that he has a voice. This is not a classical CT, but pop FALSETTIST... Who are we?

  • @serenaluce You're so ridiculously funny that I can't get mad with you... Cheers!

  • la tipa che balla: una crapa :)

  • Some of the best music I've ever heard! Manifique !

  • Wonderful.. Beautiful voice Philippe Jaroussky

  • the song named Bastiao... is it a negrilla song? villancico de negros? where is it from? I love It.

  • @Yaxwitz If Im correct it was found in Portugal and is sung in a false-portugese language. An imitation by the 17th century African slaves.

  • the son named Bastiao... is it a negrilla song? villancico de negros? where is it from? I love it.

  • Bravi

  • Quando un intero "tour" in Italia? Dalla Sardegna alla Sicilia... e poi tante tappe al sud! LAVORATECI SU!

Questa musica pesca nelle nostre tradizioni... grazie di tutto.

  • @raimondodisangro84 Hai ragionissima! Peccato che a pochi interessi e a pochi piaccia.......

  • Tout y est parfait...

  • This CD has two elements which distinguish it - contrast and variety. The combination of Nuria Rial and Philippe Jaroussky is good enough for me ( when are they going to produce a CD of duets together?)-but the inclusion of the contrasting sound of Barbara Furtuna is an amazing stroke of creativity. The juxtaposition of the two versions of Stabat Mater is particularly powerful.Christina Pluhar is a lateral thinking musical genius.

  • Je veux acehetez l'album, mais ici a Mexico n'est pas "available".

  • Pur moment de bonheur, voix magiques, ensemble merveilleux ! Achetez l'album vous serez conquis.

  • J'adore, j'adore, j'adore...

  • Absolute heaven............utterly brilliant............ We are blessed, not only to hear and see ... but also to feel this in our lifetime.

  • Simply divine! Thank you for posting!

  • alas... in view of Pluhar's musical history it is more of the same......

  • @PaulvandenBerg Alas and too bad for you because apparently you only listen with half an ear and miss out on all the details. Your view only betrays your superficial and limited appreciation. It's really way too easy to put up some stupid remark like that. It's condescending and arrogant. Of course, it all sounds alike to an untrained ear, because this company specialized itself in the music of one particular period!

  • Hier soir à la Halle aux grains de Toulouse , je l'ai ai vu et entendu ,et je peu dire que le cd et dvd reflètent bien la réalité ....

Chaque fois que j'écoute ce cd je suis dans cette superbe salle .
