  • he is absolutely right...i couldnt have said better myself

  • 20F here alone and bored and horny

i was naked while I watched this video! H8

  • O_o You're right! lol Doesnt even look like a girl.. XD

  • I'm Australian living in mid E. My friends kids are muslim. Listening to lyrics like... cyclone: she's always tight never sloppy... And 'I heard about how you get down and I'm ready with my video camera'... shit like that. They don't really get it, but it seems this stuff is the only stuff tht makes the 'cool' list. Can black music today be any more degrading to women, and to themselves? When they need most of all responsibility within their own community. Hat ET, but he's got a point.

  • but Kevin Frazier, come on now his statemants hold anymore out of touch then the show he works for. so how can say that he embrace the very samething but with a different "viewers"

  • All of this from someone who peddles entertainment trash for a living.....yeah we see where you "help".....thanks bro. Dont talk about it, be about it.

  • He is so ugly! Uh! Why do they show us so much ugly people on TV?

  • speak up nigga

  • They will never have an interview in the damn elevator lobby. bootleg.

  • We will take an interview anywhere we can get it, i don't care if we have to interview that Senator in the mens bathroom stall, the point is we got it, and you can hate all you want, but u watched it because we did what we could to get it.

  • No need to get defensive. It was just a joke, and I didn't mean to trivialize the message that is meant to be sent. It's just funny that such a serious conversation is being accented by random dings and people passing by. Keep it up, 'tis all i have to say.

  • "degradating"? no, this guy brought up some major points. he has my respect.

  • yeah because this d bags opinion matters

  • Hey I agree Kevin. You can learn from hip hop, one way is by turning the negative messeage or life style into a positive solution. By coming up with a way to stop the cycle of proverty and drugs and so farth. But that is a big order and it will take everybody.

  • you are right! • which resulted from other people's image of a criminal that is willing to kill anyone that stand is it way. And that is real. hiphop is not to blame for everything just a part of it. raps allready made so much money that they don't have too keep on "wildlife pimping" there self to be a x-gang member/pimp/drugdealer talking about how wonderful life was before and is when they got it made.

  • Hey hasn't she been in the music videos. im more than i have seen her in those videos. If this is your gig now then big up to you stay out the videos.

  • ...Their mic isnt even on.. they're using the camera mic...

thats why it sounds so bad

rap is pretty demeaning towards women...

and i think rappers, labels and distributors should consider what they put out

becuase young women have false preceptions of what they need to be

its not only because of rap, but it is a major factor

  • ok look please do not blame the rappers honestly yes they write the lyrics but on top of that who sales there albums who sign the artist and tell them what to rap about!

  • "OUR OWN PEOPLE" ??? most of the people who buy records are WHITE

  • hip hop aint no worse then the news

  • hihop is urban news

  • I would agree with that.

  • hmm..it i thought your black to,lol

  • like he mentions lupe fiasco lupe has songs that address family situations and the world as well as terrorism but he ties it in with the "black lifestyle" im not tellin 50 cent ta make a song about skate bordin lol im just tellin him as well as other rappers ta switch up the game a lil

  • i agree with the dude in the vid rappers should try to step out of the box of bitches money rims and coke. i mean i like the songs that are comin out now but we should expand to different subjects as well not necessarily racism but there are plenty of other things as well.

  • like T.I. sed it starts in the home. its the parents thats messin up not the rappers.

  • Say what you want, but what he was saying was true.

  • ppl focus on rap...rock and roll has some raunchy songs. i would rather my son be a rap star than a rock star. rock iw way worse than rap cuz those rock stars really live that crazy life

  • Don't change the subject to Rock Ulyaothavp. Its not about Rock, its about Rap. T.I. talking about it starts in the home..haha. So apparently nobody rasied him thats why he acts the fool he does, so who is he to give parenting advice. Kids can get this stuff anywhere and thats not the issue anyway. The issue is the way they talk and what they talk about. But 50 nor T.I. can talk about those facts, but only change the subject.

  • its not changing the subject. the subject is lyrics in music. people only focus on rap's raunchy lyrics. why does no one have mariyln manson, korn, or any other rockstar on the mic being scrutinized for content. Ozzy ozborne ate an animal alive on stage...

they are picking on rappers and ignoring other music genres

  • Umm yes it is changing the subject just like you just did. Marilyn Manson has been getting attacks for years. He was on Bill O's once for an interview where he was questioning he ass just like he did Camron and Dame Dash. So stop talking about everyone else and give a legit defense for rap music. Obviously you can't thats why you keep bringing up anything and everything else that you can think of.

  • they live that life. you think soldiers can retell their story leaving out the blood and violence. of course there are some rappers that take it too far. you want me to say:' yes rappers are bad and need to rap happy'. and when all the rappers are censored and rapping about pillow fights and teddy bears, count on no other genre getting the focus turned to them. they want to hush that side of america

  • What life? 50 cent has 15 houses I believe he said on 106 a few weeks ago. He isn't living in the ghetto, nor do his best sellers really say anything about the ghetto. He talks about women and money. Its not "rappers" per say, it is the ones that are most popular and really represent it the most. That is why 50 cent is always being attacked.

  • that is not the point. the point is how a x-drugdealer and gun slinger can say that whats going on in film industrie is wrong. that like mc donalds saying that candy is bad for you.

  • He has his water and clothes and what not and is really out representing the music to a crowd of people who may not listen to it. What has happened is rappers such as 50 and others have become what's "cool" in rap to the younger audience. They find 50 more "cool" than someone like Common or Lupe Fiasco. The only problem is his lyrics are the damaging ones.

  • now you are startingto make sense. some did come from the ghetto, that dont mean they have to continue to live hat way. i would have those houses too. ya know, look at who listens to rap and who 'makes' it. about 70% of ppl that buy rap are white. the ppl that own these label that decide who gets the deal, white. im not implying racism, just pointing out that the 'cool' isnt in the hands of the rappers. maybe they rap bout that to get the dolla

  • listen, race is simple, black is african, white is european, and theres yellow which are asian, then theres arbs and native americans and indiands from india, thres also sumoans and esquimos (i think their ancestors are asians) thats about it

  • Look we have enough problems to deal with, there is a part of rap music particularly to distress and relax, and trust me if 50 was rapping about racism, at some times i would turn off the radio, cause we already live enough societal realities.

  • This guy is pretty smart ;]

Problem is art kinda becomes a representation of the world as the artist experiences it ;]

There are alot of underground artists and stuff who do talk about real issues. They just don't get the same pub that these no talent greedy douches do ;]

  • Kevin Frasier and a representative from the Nation of Islam and Dr. Bill Cosby need to have a forum that speaks to Russell Simmons, Puffy and Kevin Lyles. This would be powerful! Kudos to Kevin Frasier!!!! Keep thinking with right knowledge, brother.

  • My man dropped some Real Talk. Anyone that cant see this is ignant!

  • no this dude is really droppin knowledge.

  • sounds whitee

  • WWMS (What would Malcolm X Say?) about all of this?

  • This chick acts like she's ashamed to be classified as black. I'm pretty sure where she's from they would say she's black. Just like dark skin latinos are treated worse in latin american countries than lighter ones because they are racist too.

  • Now I am not going to defend 50 Cent or TI or Kevin for that matter. But if you start attacking a BlackTreeTV Personality I am going to take it personal. Sri Lanka is off the southern coast of India, there are a number of Dark Skinned Indians, and I am positive that they are not mistaken for black people in their country. Now she is Sri Lankan, she has every right to be proud of her heritage and shouldn't have to defend that for you to fill more comfortable in your skin.

  • Thats all cool... She SHOULD be proud of her heritage. But remember, black is a color... not a country. U don't have 2 be "African-American" 2 be classified as black or brown. And I'm not "attacking" her... just stating my opinion.

  • Thanks, mitchellel. This is exactly what I meant. Maybe I didn't state it clearly . Black is a color, not an ethnicity or heritage.

  • blacktreemedia, what the hell? So "black people" = what? Just black americans? She clearly stated that she was mistaken for "black". Well, hell, her skin is dark in complexion. She's a black, Sri Lankan. Just like there are black latinos and white africans. Do some research or better yet, ask your girl about it.

  • Some great comments.

  • kevin needs to undress it would make the video better hes hot!

  • lil wayne is overrated, he's not even that good

  • Rappers need to step there game up!

Ie Lil Wayne is a monster right now and is considered "Best Rapper Now" to me he cannot be considered as this because his lyrical content limited!

Rap about something! Atleast 1nce in a while

  • who's this cornball ?

  • sellout... what about espn kevin

  • I thought she was black also hahaha

  • She is black! Black is a color, not a country. She may not be "African-American", but that doesn't stop her from being black.

  • Americans love living up to their stereotype, They are so fucking ignorant about cultures in the rest of the world! She said it herself, SHE IS NOT BLACK! Go to somewhere like London where there are over 170 nationalities of all skin tones, ok there is still some racism but not everything boils down to Black or White. And at what shade of white or brown is someone classed as black?

  • I've been 2 London... as well as Africa and Amsterdam 2 name a couple more places. Needless 2 say, "I'm well traveled." Black is not a country! Its a color! I know what she was trying 2 say, but don't get color and heritage confused.

  • Ok lets talk about "color" So your saying that anyone who isn't pure white is black? When you can tell me what shade of skin tone black starts at, then your "well travelled" experiences might mean something... Americans love to be either Black or White and still to this day, haven't worked out that the color of your skin has nothing to do with your soul. Ignorant Fucks
