  • Hmmm u are one cute guy !!!! hehe....anyways your videos are very informative and practical....I wish there was a way I could make my mom understand that delicious food everyday was not a very good idea for me.

  • Oh hai! Have you thought about - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some super things about it and my GF got hot Six pack abs and lost a lot of belly fat with it.

  • Heyyy ^_^ I sent you an email, did you get it?? =)

  • hiii dude my name is avinash am a badminton plyer i just wana wrk out on my stemina so can u give me any tipes about tat

  • @8019558676 Hi Avinash badminton as a sport requires a lot of speed, agility and reflexes...you can start by doing plyometric exercises which will help you a lot with your sport also you need to work on your nutrition and supplementation so include a lot of protein in your diet ,also inlude supplements like glutamine and bcaa in your nutrition plan to enhance muscle recovery and improve stamina ....regards raghav :-)

  • Hi.. Quick question tho, if i wanna beef up say 6-10 kg of muscle, do i eat more or do i maintain my diet and just light heavier?

  • @roadrunner88 Hi although i am not a big guy myself but if you goal is to get biggertyhen you gotta do both 1) lift heavy for muscle hyperthrophy 2) eat more to support muscle growth ....thanks for watching ....regards raghav :-)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia ok thank you ! good video btw .

  • Hi... I have been a regular (almost) gym goer I am a vegetarian and do not even have eggs. I do take whey protein supplements to compensate for the lack of protein in my diet. Indian meals are typically carb heavy. Soy is currently under the scanner as a safe protein source because of estrogen imbalance issues. Just wanted to check, what are my options regarding muscle building and post-workout repair and healthy Indian meal options (vegetarian)

  • @oshsam Believe it or not i find paneer extremely effective but make it with low fat milk, try it out and lemme know you think about it ....regards raghav :-)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia Thanks Raghav. Will try that. It does feature in my meals, only may be not the low fat milk variety :) Another concern is that Indian meals comprise of foods typically high on the glycemic index (Potatoes, wheat and sugar). Any replacement suggestions, for wheat especially? Or is it safe?

  • @Xcellfitnessindia Also, are honey, maple syrup or jaggery better supplements than refined sugar? They do have more minerals etc, but are also very high in sugar content... p.s. I do ve a sweet tooth and do have fruits regularly (apples, raisins, dates etc). :)

  • @oshsam Good questions ....sugar is sugar and if your goal is cosmetic then avoid all kinds of sugar like fructose, dextrose etc.........except post workout as you need high glycemic index carbs post workout to recover ..i do eat raisins as they are high in potassium and rich source of anti oxidants but its just once a day with tea for health benefits otherwise no form of sugar for me......regards raghav :-)

  • @oshsam Depends what your goal is ....if you wanna bulk then it defintately plays a vital role but if you wanna lose body fat then its not recommended .....i am personally not a big guy and i like lean structure so to keep my body fat levels down i do not consume high glycemicindex food except post workout....regards raghav :-)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia Thanks again, Raghav. Guess have to watch out for excess sugar intake, especially how it sneaks in through regular foods as well. :)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia Hi there. If eating too many calories makes you gain weight, how would you explain these 'fruitatarians' eating 3000-4000 a day, even when they are not engaging in physical activity and yet being able to maintain a low weight and even loosing weight????Sure, there is no doubt that in the traditional diet 3000-4000 calories would make you fat, but can you explain this phenomenon to me? Also, do you think to an extent we are genetically predisposed to being a certain weight?

  • @jessicalovestheused Hi Jessica weight gain or weight loss depends on calorie output and calorie input equation so if the input is more than output then anyone will put on weight ....hope that answers your question.......regards raghav :-)

  • should i eat rice?

  • @XoXoBlackCrowXoXo Rice is not the issue, issue is quantity of rice coz ultimately what makes you put on weight is the number of calories so you can eat rice but just eat less of it .....check out more videos on channel or onmy website xcellfitness.co.in .......regards raghav :-)

  • Damn you, paratha. The ONE Indian food i can't resist! arggh

    tanks

  • @balaji1744 HI Bala eating more is good as its a sign that your metabolic rate is going up ....all you gotta do divide your total calorie intake into 6 -7 small meals per day and that will help a lot .....check out more videos on my channel or visit my websit xcellfitness.co.in regards raghav :-)

  • and btw i like ur videos.. thanks :)

  • Hi, I am a girl n m trying to lose around 15 kgs. I do my workouts n the evenings post work and by the time I get back home it is 10pm. My nutritionist has asked me to hav protein (like 2 egg whites) after workout, but is it ok to hav protein at night around 10.30? wat shud i hav post workout?

  • @kavyakswamy Hi Karvy its very important to have protein post workout but 2 egg white is to way to less and its just 7 grams and i would recommend atleast 20 -25 grams.... check out more videos on my channel or my website ....regards raghav :-)

  • Hey Raghav..U're vdos r very informative..I've been going to gym for past 5 mnths now n i hv been nt very sure abt my diet...though i've been tryng to eat as healthy as possible bt often i find myself binging...i wanted to knw if i should take ny supplements like vita-whey etc. so that i get proper nutrition and also get a better toned body ( if it helps)?????

  • @no1tellsmewat2do I am not much into supplementation man except protein shakes that too only if i am travelling..nothing beats natural protein like cottage cheese, chicken, fish etc.....regards raghav :-)

  • Then what if i get hungry while just eating a small portion? It will tempted me to eat again

  • So what are you suggesting? What do you eat for breakfast?

  • @tamirisadp Hi ,there are lots of options like oatmeal, muesli etc . but the idea again is to eat smaller quantities of it .....thanks for watching....regards raghav :-)

  • LOL I know this...

Have you ever considered writing an ebook. I am sure you are not hurting for money but every little bit helps. As some examples you could check out Kindle. com or Lulu. com...

There are a few others but I prefer Kindle. com because it is part of Amazon. com

  • @TruthatCearcie Hi Cearcie thanks for watching ...great idea its just that i hate writing :-)) and thats why the you tube videos, but i am in talks with couple of guys who are willing to write book with me....thanks for the suggestion and thanks for keeping up with the channel ....regards raghav :-)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia

    Sure thing...

  • Hey I heard that to reduce weight you have to burn more calories then you take in, I take in around 1200 calories a day but only burn 700 calories at the gym, will I still lose weight? And I'm eating healthy, beans, whole grains, fruits, oats, vegetables and drinking a lot of water.

  • @JayP7269 Hi Jay yes you are right,in order to reduce weight the input of calorie has to be less than output of calories. But consuming 1200 calories a day is not a good idea because a) chances of nutritional deficiency are extremely high b) consuming such a low calorie intake will make your metabolic rate even slower and the moment you go back to your normal diet all the weight will bounce back .....regards raghav :-)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia Yes but trust me I only eat when I'm hungry I'm not starving myself, I take my time eating and drink a lot of water, so is it possible to still lose weight even if I don't burn off every calorie I ate that day? Because the way you are saying a normal diet is 2000 calories how can I burn off 2000 calories?

  • @JayP7269 our body also requires a good amount of calories for its internal purposes so dont forget that ! :)

  • @Xcellfitnessindia hey raghav , i eat kelloggs in the morning for breakfast , is it good ? or will it make me fat cuzi n one of ur videos u said cereals aren't healthy and im still confused :\

  • Great video. Im showing this to the guys in the gym that have a hard time. I sometimes dont even get to 1500 calories in a day. Is that bad?

  • Love your videos :) this is a great video too...can u do more videos like this...esp bc its hard to come across nutritonal values of indian foods

  • @Mozzabocca Sure will do ..thanks for watching .....regards raghav :-)

  • great video, very direct information and no bull - thank you (:

  • @ActionCutter Thanks ...regards raghav :-)

  • Excellent video! Just made me realize I consume about 5000 cal a day! :-)

But I also sweat it out on the treadmill for an hour everyday!

    Can't stop eating. Love food...

  • @XxHardcorexxGamerxX eat less and work more

  • Great information! :) I was wondering though: I eat healthy, drink a lot of water, I reduce sugar and refined carbs and all of that, but I like to snack on nuts. They too, are pretty rich in calories, but I don't know how much of them should I eat. Do you have any suggestions?

  • @DormouseGal I am nuts about nuts :-)...snacking on nuts is a great idea and eating a fist full of nuts (almonds and walnuts) everyday is absolutely worth the calories.....i personally consume 10 -15 walnuts and 10 -15 almonds everyday ...regards raghav :-)
