It's a shame that "religions" all over the world have abused the term "God". God is real, or what Jesus calls, "Good". Check out Near Death Experiences. They are as close to the truth as it gets. At least, if you don't believe, be loving and kind and live in peace. <3
@TheK1N1 you're delusional. These 'feelings' you get are the same feelings you get when you watch a good movie or get goosebumps, you just attribute them to your childhood dogma. Also which god is it you're felling. Not Thor or Zeus I'm sure. There have been hundreds of 'God's' in our lifetime all throughout time. all of whom had believers who swore that they existed. Deep down you know an omnipotent being is illogical. It just gives you comfort which is why you protect it.

One time I tried to commit suicide, because I didn't want to wait to go to heaven and make mud pies with Jesus. Then after I cut my neck, and blood sprayed everywhere, I read a science book and then I realized how stupid I was and how I wasted my only life. THE END

Yes God can change your life. Happened to me too! From a life of smoking, drinking, pot, partying all night, etc. - a life of waste, no meaning, despair, boastful, etc. - to a life of purpose, hope, inner peace. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life!
@prismtank08 you can drink and smoke pot in moderation and still have a great life, chances are you are wasting your life at church now instead of party houses.
Faith, God bless you for sharing your story with the world. God is real, and He can get you through anything. If we trust in Him and let Him have control in our lives, He will restore all that has been taken from us. Our God is a God of love, peace, freedom, and restoration. He saved me from drugs, booze, prostitution and suicide. He turned my life completely around and I'm so grateful that I called out to Him when I needed Him the most, because my heart and my life have completely changed!!! :)
