Crystal Chapell's Emmy nom has reignited my Otalia-obsession... If this scene doesn't get her that Emmy, it'll be a crime! She was fantastic! So was Jessica Leccia btw... wish she'd gotten a nod too.

Damn they are awesome actresses. How can you not believe they are in love. I keep watching this over and over and my heart pounds each and every time, even though I know what is going to happen and what they are going to say. Two beautiful women showing just how beautiful love is can be........awesome!!!
I´m always wondering about how much liv and nat did know about the other one´s feelings. at the graveyard it seems like they´re on the same page what with the whole dialogue. liv wouldn´t say things like: I could give you a home... and stop nat from trying to tell her: don´t you know how much... .
yet in the gazebo liv is like: whoa you love me too?!you never said anything!
I think when Liv stopped Nat at "Don't you know how much?"..she was trying to be noble and in her mind give Natalia a more conventional life,one that would conform to her religious beliefs. At the gazebo(after Nat had run out on Frank) Natalia's love confession was sort of double edged. She told Liv how she has no idea how much she wished things were right with Frank and how she knew Olivia cared but would change the subject. I think Liv was hurt by this & needed Nat to convince her.
I think Liv felt that even though she had put her feelings on the line that she would never hear Natalia express hers as well. Even though Liv already knew how Nat felt about her....for her to actually verbalize it was amazing to Liv.....JMO.
at the end when CC says "you know where you need to be, and who you need to be with. We got a wedding to get to". It looks like JL looks at her like "what the hell are you talking about...wedding? I thought you were talking about being with you"!
everybody says CC is an amazing actress, and i agree, but after watching this clip so many times, i finally understand why. if you watch 0:54-0:56, look at CC's face as JL is withdrawing her hand from CC's. CC looks so scared and afraid of being rejected or hurt by JL. god, that just looked so real and raw..

I don't think she was outclassed, she was doing what is needed. This is CC's scene written and directed. JL's job is to let it be CC's scene. I think CC is more experienced but JL, especially after seeing her with her material the last several weeks, blows me away too.

They pick from Oct. 2007 to Sept. of 2008. now the scene we've been seeing won't get nominated until next year. sorry but the truth is, they up there game this year and it is a blowout!!! so if they don't get nominated next year, then you start tripping.
Well, maybe Jessica may get an ALMA Award (American Latin Media Award), for her work on the show. Saundra Santiago (Ex-Carmen Santos) won so who knows. Also, considering that GL will no longer be broadcast on CBS, the Academy felt it was pointless to nominate them fearing that maybe some of the "Cast" Members may make a big fuss over it. Also, this is the worst Year for Nominations. Gina Togoni, Lawrence St. Victor, should have also been nominated but they weren't either (sigh).
What really gets me is that Olivia doesn't wait for Nat to say she doesn't feel the same way...and Liv never says anything like "I know you don't feel the same way"...they both just knew all along. Otalia=LOVE!!
Oh God... Olivia's pain here is so palpable! Why is Nat choosing now to accept her love? When Liv doesn't want to hurt her?! Gosh, Otalia angst is the best kind!

I love how it all played out in the end, but everytime I hear Natalia start that sentence, my mind can't help wondering...

Finally a story on tv about REAL love. It doesn't matter the gender, race, religion, LOVE IS LOVE. No matter what happens to this show, I have been truly changed in the way that I look at life and the people around me because of the writing of this story and because of CC and Jessica.

There are moments from movies and TV programs that are forever etched in one's memory. From 2:05 to 3:10, this is near perfect, as well-acted as you will ever see in a TV program. This is my favorite scene from the whole storyline.

They pick from Oct. 2007 to Sept. of 2008. now the scene we've been seeing won't get nominated until next year. sorry but the truth is, they up there game this year and it is a blowout!!! so if they don't get nominated next year, then you start tripping.

Well, maybe Jessica may get an ALMA Award (American Latin Media Award), for her work on the show. Saundra Santiago (Ex-Carmen Santos) won so who knows. Also, considering that GL will no longer be broadcast on CBS, the Academy felt it was pointless to nominate them fearing that maybe some of the "Cast" Members may make a big fuss over it. Also, this is the worst Year for Nominations. Gina Togoni, Lawrence St. Victor, should have also been nominated but they weren't either (sigh).

You didn't sound that sarcastic, I know you from other Otalia clips and I like your comments, so it's ok. ;) In my head, if Natalia had indeed said that, the wedding would still happen. We all know Olivia was scared s***less and her way of avoiding confrontation with Nat's feelings was by pushing her into marrying Frank... I just complete the sentence in my head, 'coz when Natalia expresses her feelings for Olivia, my heart melts. 'Coz, you know, it's always Liv's POV and when it's Nat's... <3

There are moments from movies and TV programs that are forever etched in one's memory. From 2:05 to 3:10, this is near perfect, as well-acted as you will ever see in a TV program. This is my favorite scene from the whole storyline.
