Look everyone: I think it's pretty obvious Joe doesn't have the typical bellowing black man voice closely associated with blues legends. None the less, he does a fine job singing. He can shred AND sing, unlike Vai, Satriani, and EJ. His voice has improved much since his very early recordings, and continues to thicken.
@hjsnake94 Yeah I know. Actually they all sing, but they're strengths lie mostly in their guitar playing whereas Bonamassa can do both and still hold his own.
The guitar is great but I think he misses a real voice for singing blues. I think he'd do better partnering up with a great singer and calling it the Joe Bonamassa experience or something like that. Anybody agree with that?
@uitblazenindepijp He's forming a new band, which was gonna be called Black Country but there was legal issues with another band already having that name. The singer is Glenn Hughes (Who has an incredible voice). Gonna be sweet.

EJ sings too. Vai does, but less so.

certain songs i agree, but some of his songs need his voice. without his voice they wouldn't be amazing.

@uitblazenindepijp
Totally, even though Joe is a good singer. His voice just doesn't match the power that's in his guitar play.
