Lake affect is always the best snow, I used to live in shaker heights near cleveland and the snow there was awesome for snowball fights. But now that I live in bethesda just outside of dc the snow hear is sooo soft and slippy
@aquamarinepoppies Pretty unusual actually, but these type of events occur more frequently in favorable lake effect zones, like northwest Indiana, than in your average Midwestern town.
I work at the hospital, and I wasn't allowed to leave work that night because of the snow. I agree, though. It was pretty afterward. I'll take snow over a tornado anyday!
Man ,the morning after was beautiful! I moved from LaPorte in 69 to South Carolina. Don't know how you all handle all of that snow! Thanks for posting!
