Apart from that you can charge your electric vehicle from solar panels on your roof for 0$ (minus the acutal solar panels) and 0 emissions.

We`ve built an electric racing bike at university this course and calculations showed that the overall carbon emissions from 0 to the end of the vehicle`s life-cycle is around 50% less than on carbon-fuel based cars.

Thanks for the clarification. I kept seeing other comments refer to this as an electric bike which I was skeptical of due to it making noise (most electrics are nearly silent) and for it's blistering time.

Kudos on the run, but electrics aren't to this level of speed just yet. Getting close though!

196mph in the quarter is extremely impressive. Possibly more impressive is that this bike probably hits 200mph in about <7.5 seconds...sick.

harley nitrobikes usually use a 2 speed planetary B&J or Owens and a slipper clutch

LOL, my Victory cruiser runs under 12 seconds. A liter bike can run low 10's and in the right cond with a good rider high 9's.
