Why should South Panola care about playing other nationally ranked teams? The have one purpose and one purpose only and that's to defend their state titles every year. You must not forget that Mississippi schools are much smaller than schools in Bama, Texas, etc. so that talent is limited but you must give panola credit for what they've done with their program with local talent who were born and raised in that area.

i graduate from Horn Lake High School and i had to watch these guys play.. i dont think they would beat some of the Bama teams or even the Texas teams but they are a top team in the nation. My high school team sucked tho and hasnt been good in years. Just check out Olive Branch and some other teams in MS they are a lot bigger and faster than most ppl give them credit for. Sout Panola should grow some balls tho and play Nationaly ranked teams.

But it is true that mississippi has some of the best and biggest football players to ever come through the state. I'm not from mississippi and I even know that. Look at the facts, Mississippi won the award for greatest high school football state in the country. Study was done by Penn University. There is even a book on it, it is called Gridiron Gold. South Panola also has one of the longest winning streaks in the country and they are ranked top 5 in the country almost every year. Eat it.

I come from a school that was 4-5 last year, and this year we played for the 4A state championship... So don't ever say who ever the other team lost, it is who work the hardest to prepare for next year...

It is too late to say what the refs done, because I played in the 4A state championship game and the refs made some awful calls, but even though they made a bad call that should have had the game at 16-13 final they didn't... Well it is my senior season ,but for the rest, they won't complain, they will just work hard to make it back next year... Simple...

This game was great. Sp was everything they were hyped to be but we came up ready to fight. Loved it when big shot 14 danced down the field then showd his butt!
