MH 3rd was great... but the armors sUCKS! and what the fuck is wrong with the old monsters here. old monsters and old armors they should make new armors of rathalos and tigrex. new looks new weapons in third its still the same i mean look at me before it was released i couldnt put my mind out of it. and when its released i saw the armor some are great some are bad ass but almost 1.4 of the armors there SUCKS

MHP3rd is getting a High Definition boost and being ported to the Ps3. Release date and more details will be announced at the E3 Convention (June 7-9, 2011). Pray that it will have a US/EU release!

If you really want to play this game, english patch is now available.. All weapons, Armors, Quests, Items are all english... But the felyne weapons and armors are still jap, but Team HGG is still working for the patch so we can play it in full english patch.. So if you want to play you can just download the patch file and patch it yourself to the MHP3rd ISO.. Hope it helps...

It's actually the 4th game in the series for the PSP:

1) Monster Hunter Freedom

2) Monster Hunter Freedom 2

3) Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

4) Monster Hunter Freedom 3 (probably the English title)

According to the Wiki, it's set to come out in July 2011 for US/EU ;)

@Thengel123 Japanese version is out. For people with Custom Firmware you can get a patched Japanese version, it translates few things to make it pretty playable., but for experienced Monster Hunter players, most of the things are the same. It's pretty playable.

@jazonguzilatar89 You'll have all weapons in 2G and Tri except for "Medium Bowgun" By the way, you might find the damage value on the weapons a little wired since all beginner's weapons have the same damage value(50). This doesn't mean Great sword and Single-hand word do the same amount of damage per attack, the value is only for comparison among the same type of weapons, Great sword still deal more damage per attack than Single - hand sword

@kiuru1 You can't import your character because Tri/MHP3rd are reboots.

It worked from Freedom 1 to 2 and 2 to Unite because all of the previous games' content was present, but in Portable 3rd most of the stuff from the last games doesn't exist.

However you CAN import your save to get some bonus features

Cool game but im not all that exited. most of the monsters r from monster hunter tri witch i just beat. iv killed like 20 barioths and giginoxes and it pisses me off now. if u never played freedom unite then get that becas they both hav like the same graphics and freedom unite has better, and more monsters in my opinion, most of the mosters here r from older games tho. but if u hav played freedom unite then get this becas the new monsters look cool as **** even tho thares like 4 of em

@MHDpower no no! not ture at all! tigrex was the easiest, if you know how to fight him. i got the hang of him in 3 fights, and i can sns him without taaking a single hit now. if you noticed, all the monsters in the original trailer were owning the hunters, just to show that they raised the difficulty and the new attacks. ofcourse he will be hard at first, he has new moves and hes stronger that no one has ever seen b4. so dont make assumptions until u see it for yourself :p

@MHDpower uhm nope the narugakuruga my good man is the black tigrex look alike... in any case you haven't encountered the naruga yet i'l give you a little hint. the naruga moves like a tigrex but it does not pack a punch like the tigrex.. but be warned good sir the naruga will and i mean will pin you down with its brute and absolute brute SPEED... and heres another hint watch out for its tail of all the parts of its body the tail is the one that can waste you :)
