  • i am full blooded chinese however being born n raised in macau i kinda always just felt macanese well now im american since i moved to america when i was a child

  • Gorgeous!! That's Cantonese Culture!!!

  • for who doest know a sht...stop talking....she is enjoying..and she know everyone ( old ) and she is singing chinese opera...

  • this has become the funniest video i've seen in a long time, especially since I can understand her. She's singing some old Cantonese song. Lol.

  • The Macanese are people who are ethnically mixed of Portuguese and Chinese origin. As a general rule, it is not a point of reference, however for ethnic Chinese living and raised in Macau; they often identify themselves as Chinese or Chinese from Macau

  • I really despise these morons who claim that "macanese" people are only those of mixed race heritage.

If you are born in Macau, then you are Macanese. Ethnically you can be Chinese, Portuguese or Mestico, but Macanese should not be solely a "coinage" of people of mixed race.

  • yes i am a macanese myself and that is NO macanese just bull shit of a old lady who has finally lost her mind

  • Just a small correction, but not all people in Macau are Macanese. Macanese are an ethnic group comprising of people who are of mixed chinese/portuguese ancestry.

  • the elderly woman is singing a cantonese opera song. many elderly & middle age people(usually > 50) from canton/guangdong province enjoy listening to & watching cantonese opera songs/shows. An elderly man in the background is telling the woman her voice is great!

  • Thanks!!! I'm glad to finally have some idea what was going on.

  • thats my mum...

  • This is great.. I have spent a lot of time in Macau and never seen anything like it.

    Where is this park?

  • I wish I could remember. I think it was on our way from the square to the Macau Museum, but I'm not sure exactly where.
