  • This "System 2000" motif came out in late 1981.

  • @tony46214 marathon took over there?

  • why they close it the name is sick

  • fuck Texaco!

  • :-)

  • Not too long ago I sent an e-mail to Chevron Canada asking if they would consider bringing the Texaco name back. They said they wouldn't. There are other Texaco products, like Havoline motor oil, still available there.

Texaco and Chevron sold their last gallon of gas in the mid-atlantic and the south last year. But you can still go to a store and find Havoline & Chevron oil, Texaco & Chevron anti-freeze, Techron and Pro-Gard gasoline additives.

  • @Mcnzlea what is that address to where I can e-mail Chevron myself, I live in Kentucky and really miss Chevron and Texaco gas here as well...Marathon sucks and they have practically taken over down here and they just love to price gouch all the time.....

  • i live at a texaco station to because I can't afford the gas to drive home...

  • yeah gas prices are OUT OF CONTROL!

  • The BP station in Queensferry, not far away from me used to be a Texaco

  • i live at a texaco oil station!

  • There was a Texaco station in Ajax (Ontario). That's what I had remembered in my childhood days. Now that station has become an Esso, so to speak. Oh the memories....

  • @simon726

I remember when Texaco existed in Canada. When I was a kid, traveling to see family in Iroquois Falls, ON, there used to be one, just outside Porquis Jct, 10 minutes up the highway, from my grandparents' house. But that was way back in 1987. After it closed, they turned it into an Esso station/restaurant. Now that's long gone too. All that's left now, is an empty lot.

  • I remember seeing Texaco stations in Etobicoke growing up. I don't remember what became of it now.

There was also a Gulf station across the street from me. Amazing memories.

  • There was a Texaco near my home, and indeed it became an Esso. Now it's a used car lot.
