  • Nothing more satisfying than catching a redfin big enough to eat. Cleaning out the waterways and scoring a good meal at the same time.

  • nice redfin, never thought of casting a spinnerbait at a school of them before. Last time we used kokoda crankbaits should've thought to use the spinnerbait though.

  • very nice

  • nice Reddies Boy's Good Job!

  • nice and local ;)

  • Nice reddies mate i wanna get some of those lures...

  • nice reddy's mate .we dont get many here only now and then in the channels..good eating to love em.i see you cast with the right hand !i used too but have taught myself to cast left hand and am better at it now.have been hit as soon as the lure hits the water sometimes and find it better as you need to react quick and dont have to change hands.felt bloody weird for the first week or so but a benifit now ..good stuff mate ...see you on the water sometime REG

  • Wheres your bloody net man !!!! where do you think you are, America fishing for big mouth bass.

  • no net needed, are there redfin /english perch over in canada mate?

  • Sorry mate, i thought you were in England.

There are perch here but few and far between, they are all heathens here, if you can't eat em then why catch em !!!

As you might guess i am an expat.

  • great clip. Never caught reddies on spinnerbaits for the simple reason ive never needed to. I catch anough on bladed spinners!! Another inspirational clip...i wanna go fishing!!!

  • Thanks mate, i want to go fishing myself, even tho i just go home lol,

    no fish today : (

  • Great stuff,that second reddy was a beauty M8 ☆☆☆☆☆

    Alan.

  • indeed he was,a nice feed for 2

  • Sorry bro I didn't mean to shoot you down! I respect team outlaw and what they do. I have just noticed over the past ten years or so that our fishery has been depleated of some great fish from people who fish during closed seasons. I am also glad to here you do reserch on the river system. I can't stress how sorry i am to jump to conclusions on you mate. Hope to meet you on the river and say sorry face to face.

  • All good,Im with you 100%,to see not only fisherman, but just humans in general killing our rivers, its a disgrace. And sorry to blow up,but as you would imagine when you live for the natives as we do it does hurt to have your fishing integrity questioned. Also,I have heaps of footage to come, and more being filmed each week, and i can only edit so much(without missing out on fishing)I try to add a few each week,no always current footage, keep that in mind also as the close is my editing season.:)

  • Looks to me you were fishing the river with dark spinner baits. You are only lying to yourself if you think you were not chasing cod in closed season!!!! I use spinners myself and i leave the river alone in closed cod season. I know team outlaw puts them back but still. I also know you do catch yella and redfin on them as well, so you might be chasing them but come on as if you were.

  • Mark, I understand your point and agree,

I have fished what is left of this small part of river hard for the last 10years and not once have I heard of a cod being caught. They were stocked but it didnt work, not one record of any surviving (and i have flogged the place) You would have more chance of winning lotto than catching a cod out of this river. I could email you some reports on the river if you like? But in the future you could ask a few questions first before shooting me down mate.
