  • Just bought these, does aound like cd skipping!. Can anyone help me out with how to loop a lyric for example and whilst its on loop, tap a button to make the lyric repeat over, I know you could do it on the 800's, I cant remember what the word is callled that I want to do, (not dj'd in 10yrs) example - the best I can do, you loop lyric "call on me" you continully tap the button and it says "call" call" call" sorry 4 bad explanation, hoping someone can understand what I am trying to say thanks.

  • song name?

  • this is a shit i have a pair and loop do not work very well, just the name pioneer...waste money!!!

  • I MISS THE CDJ1000s AND THE HOT CUES

WHO RATHER THEM THAN AN INSTANT LOOP BUTTON ...JUSTSAYIN

    ...LIKKLE

  • Se dovessi mai comprarmi un paio di 850 non sarà di certo grazie ai video "promozionali" di casa Pioneer. Sanno fare i prodotti ma, scusate, non di certo le pubblicità!

  • He says that it creates "a perfect loop", not true. I have these players and they doesnt have quantized loops as the 900's and cdj-2000 which make the loop go off beat pretty much right away which sucks so much.

Dont get why Pioneer even made this loop feature when it cant be used while two tracks are playing.

  • @JochenBjork This is correct. Pioneer has stated that they will address this in a forthcoming firmware update, but don't expect to let a loop ride on one deck and bring in another; the first will be off by a few frames. If you need quantized looping, be prepared to spend an additional $400 for CDJ-900s.

  • @OMGtheill It's useless to have the function if it's off even by a few frames. I might as well just set a loop manually with the in and out function, then I at least have a chance to get the frames right.

  • @JochenBjork I totally agree. I wasn't meaning to condone it at all, just give people a heads-up that Pioneer is aware of the problem,

  • @OMGtheill Or buy another brand that make the loops as they must be, the quantized loops still fare away from perfect, check the pioneer forums and see for yourself

  • Hey mate.

Do the CDJ 850's have decimal bpm?

    For e.g. 128.1 bpm

  • @necnenecne No it doesn't have that. That feature is only for novices that aint got a clue how to beatmatch :) If you where any good you wouldn't wan that feature :) get the 350s if you want the feature your looking for but be warned, if you ever make it to a club, your fucked as you wont be used to have less space to work on the beatmatching before it goes up another bpm. Your choice mate

  • I'm looking for some help into what cdj to buy. I want something that is good for scratching and beat jugging. I know everyone is going to say get vinyl but i just sold my technics 1200s before moving to thailand and were i live there is nooooo vinyl shops. Any help would be much apprecated.

  • It seems to not be the same loop features than those on the 900. Am I wrong?

  • i bought this player , but i dont like it too much .. maybe because is new for me .. i will write my opinion again after 2 weeks :) now i think the 400 is more practice..

  • Sorry but skill fail. That demo sounds more like skipping cd. No rhythm at all. And could you explain us what's the point of making 4 beat loop just to cut it just after 1/4 note (and so on)? I mean it's a nice feature and all but please... learn from Novation how to make promos.

  • @raptorekpl

    thought exactely the same ...

  • @raptorekpl Are you Kidding me? the beat loop effect is one of the most sought after effects when buying CDJ's, if the CDJ can do it with out a PC, thenthat's a big plus. Do you even DJ? Dont hate on pioneer's high end products, dont get me wrong, im not a pioneer fan boy, i dont own any of their DJ products, im not an idiot. But they do make good gear.

@xaqlim CDJ2K has ALL the features. CDJ 200/400 has the least.

  • @raptorekpl Totally agree..

  • When comes a player with all features of the cdj-2000,900,850,400 and 350? It must be soooooo big
