true, the covanant and halos various enemies have to be an adequte threat in order for there to be any real difficulty in combat (althogh factors such as bad control can also affect combat.) but what you seem to have ignored is that the master cheif has a sheild that can soak up considerable damage and a health bar on top of that, while if mario gets hit once or twice, he dies. so my commet is still valid as mario does'nt need to dress like a space marine to tear extra arseholes out of his foes.

i will admit halo is a competent shooter, thecontrol is fluid, enemy design is generic, but works, and the dramatic landscapes of halo are pretty, but the gameplay overall is just not very interesting. all you ever do is wail on an enemy untill his sheild is down, then cap him in the head with the human pistol when he tries to run away.

@Arnie1000351 have you played infamous? obviously not. and alex could never kill Kratos because when he dies he just goes to Hades, but that's ok for him, he generally just walks out again. he isn't a god for nothing. and if mere blades and bullets could kill sephiroth then how come Clouds 5 by 2 feet sowrd doesn't do jack shit against him so nothing in alex's arsenal could ever hurt him. and liberty prime is onley the 50 foot indestrucable laser fireing, mini nuke throwing robot from fallout.
@Chayraz2 liberty prime is not industructable a simple air strike kills him look up the death of liberaty prime on youtube and kratos is just stupid when he dies he goes to haydes and climbs back out alex mercer would go to haydes and spam consume kratos for all eternaty and sephiroth gets killed by cloud so his 5 foot 2 sword does have effect when it isn't blocked and alex could take out liberaty prime by using all 3 of his airstrikes when he transforms into a mility officer.
@Arnie1000351 there are two details you have missed. one, it was an orbital strike using the deadlest explosives known to man after nukes, explosives with a small yet deadly blast designed to eliminate specific targets, way more powerful than a simple airstrike. two, prime was onley barely in working order, he was but a fraction of his true power because the brotherhood lacked the resources to fully restore him. three, in any case alex would be useless against him.
@Arnie1000351 sephiroth is a FF character, so he's just about invincible...until he's suddenly not. it's difficult to understand if you don't play alot of FF. basicly, sephiroth could onley be killed when the plot sayes he can be killed. and alex could consume Kratos for eternity but that doesn't change the fact that he cannot kill him. sides i think you are short changing Kratos a bit, i've never played GoW but im pretty sure Kratos would just tear off Alex's head and shit down his neck.

@Chayraz2 i think infamous sucks and alex mercer could beat kratos by instantly consuming him and septhiroth sucks because he uses a sword and alex mercer can take hundreds of bullets so what damage could a sword do very little at most and he could instant consume septhiroth. I can't say anthing about liberty prime unless i see a fight scene of him and the infamous guy is weak compared to alex mercer and neither of them are ripoffs because i'm sure they were created before the other was realesed

@Arnie1000351 have you played infamous? obviously not. and alex could never kill Kratos because when he dies he just goes to Hades, but that's ok for him, he generally just walks out again. he isn't a god for nothing. and if mere blades and bullets could kill sephiroth then how come Clouds 5 by 2 feet sowrd doesn't do jack shit against him so nothing in alex's arsenal could ever hurt him. and liberty prime is onley the 50 foot indestrucable laser fireing, mini nuke throwing robot from fallout.

@Chayraz2 liberty prime is not industructable a simple air strike kills him look up the death of liberaty prime on youtube and kratos is just stupid when he dies he goes to haydes and climbs back out alex mercer would go to haydes and spam consume kratos for all eternaty and sephiroth gets killed by cloud so his 5 foot 2 sword does have effect when it isn't blocked and alex could take out liberaty prime by using all 3 of his airstrikes when he transforms into a mility officer.

@Arnie1000351 there are two details you have missed. one, it was an orbital strike using the deadlest explosives known to man after nukes, explosives with a small yet deadly blast designed to eliminate specific targets, way more powerful than a simple airstrike. two, prime was onley barely in working order, he was but a fraction of his true power because the brotherhood lacked the resources to fully restore him. three, in any case alex would be useless against him.

@Arnie1000351 sephiroth is a FF character, so he's just about invincible...until he's suddenly not. it's difficult to understand if you don't play alot of FF. basicly, sephiroth could onley be killed when the plot sayes he can be killed. and alex could consume Kratos for eternity but that doesn't change the fact that he cannot kill him. sides i think you are short changing Kratos a bit, i've never played GoW but im pretty sure Kratos would just tear off Alex's head and shit down his neck.
