His looks imo actually worked against him . It's obviously possible to be TOO good looking !! Who would have thought it in the world of X Factor ?!! Good singer - great looking didn't seem to be a poser either - nice guy far as can tell . His looks should have been a bonus to his talent not a disadvantage . Exactly yeah! She only appears to be ''gorgeous'' because of her stylists! If she wasn't where she was now, no one would give her a second glance in the street! Ethan however is amazingly talented, he has a gorgeous voice, he can play guitar and keyboard and he writes his own songs and is naturally gorgeous which is an added bonus and which you would think would give him a natural advantage! Any other judge would have put him through. Obviously Cheryl felt threatened or something.

Ethan is great . I cannot still comprehend why he was not selected for the live shows . Really nice smooth voice and sings much better than the others imo . I thought he would win the whole thing with perhaps close competition from Olly if he gets the right songs for his voice and moves . Also it has to be said Ethan looks great too - What more do they want ?. Cheryl obviously did not like him for some reason . You could tell that . She probably fancied him and it was not returned is my guess
