  • HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHA!

  • E24D~~

  • I believe there surely are more differences between different individual brains, no matter if they are male or female than between the average male and female brain, if that thing exists. Also I've heard that it's impossible to determine if a death person's brain once belonged to a man or a woman.

  • @ninotska77 well if the person is dead, but put a man or a woman in an fMRI and expose them to some stimuli and youll be able to tell

  • Sounds smart until he states his blind faith in a ridiculous, unfounded theory involving "millions of years".

  • @VisionArts

    You mean 'evolution'?

Are you saying that he would sound smarter if he said that "God, in his infinite wisdom and power, created males and females to be that way"? Because that's a proven and dignified theory... in the Bible. :/

  • @ztkRaptoR Ok, that made me lol

  • Haha gist sounds like a sex word.

  • actually men and wemon arent that different at all. society sparks evolution, if u compare the size of man and women in caveman days they were the same size, as society became men work and wemon do sit on there ass and whine about the pain of birth which dosent last long, evolution happens, now mens bodys become more adaptive to their activities, hunting, lifting, wemon, no change, which explains todays bulshit of gender roles

  • @datboyquincy You are fucking full of shit for thinking that male and female are not different at all.

  • The fact that this guy is wearing a white coat suggests that he is trying to project an image of "science" that will persuade the niave viewer that he knows what he is talking about. In fact, what he is saying is a gross simplification and exaggeration of the truth. While the differences he speaks of are apparent when you compare the average male with the average female there is a very wide range in both groups and a lot of overlap. His conclusion is therefore invalid.

  • @rlwemm Lols. "This guy" is in fact a developmental molecular biologist and if you buy the DVD or go to his site he warns not to draw any conclusions from this nascent scientific field.

We know fuck all about the brain and he is not pretending he does.

    Your post was therefore invalid.

  • How can you demonstrate a response to a traumatic event and immediately conclude it applies to productive cognitive brain functioning?

Do you people realize that such a claim has no establishment whatsoever? Atleast according to this video?

  • interesting, but can't help but feel a little offended as a gay man... alexander the great had a fair number of male mistresses (would you call them misters? eh no one would get it though...) & he nearly conquered the known world

  • The fact that Alexander the Great liked to hump guys has no bearing in the matter. He was a kickass strategist and politician, hence his success. Again, his humping dudes had no bearing whatsoever in his exploits. He was a very capable male plain and simple, used to conquest by making war with other estates and pushing his weight around. Whether women played a role or not is debatable but in the end his empire did crumble, another trait of strictly male edifices, wouldn't you say?

  • lol it was an over generalization =P i wasnt being serious

  • everyone in ancient greek times was boning men, all graffiti back then said so

  • Actually there's speculation he was a transvestite or hermaphrodite, and therefore the argument is completely moot since if s/he were a hermaphrodite we don't know how his brain would work in this situation.

    Another mystery solved... kinda...

  • more true is the fact nearly all great thinkers and scientists have been male. We have different strengths and weaknesses

  • yes but that is probably because of the complete lack in oppratunity women had been given for quite a while

  • Who gave the opportunity to the white man?

  • Yea! We need more male white women scientists

  • "oppratunity"?! Is that like Oprah-tunity? heheh

  • Very respectfully, in my own opinion and life experience the statement emotion and gist is male and emotion and details are female in the context of this video sounds very nice and very romantic :] I find many men process in the "female" style and there are women who process in the "male" style. Also some people are very integrated or switching processors--myself. I feel the viewpoint of this video is narrow and only accurate in cultural extremes. I've thought about this considerably. thank you

  • Your problem is that you can not understand the difference between global processes and local processes. What this man is referring to is a global concept, meaning that when viewed as a whole, men and women will show different thinking patterns. It is true that locally you will find men and women who differ from the norm, but you can not view the sexes as a WHOLE based on LOCAL observations.

  • very short.

  • well its so smart what he said a the end. I truly think he's right.
