  • Beautiful.

  • The clarity and purity of the voices is delightful to hear... ideal for Baroque music, though perhaps you could work on inserting the trills Vivaldi writes. Flawless blend and gorgeous tone! Bravissime -- I'll have to look up your CD.

  • I LOVE that this is sung sans vibrato--there is wonderful dissonance between the 2 parts, which gets lost if sung with vibrato. You both have such clear, pure tones and impeccable pitch, which allows the listener to hear every subtle nuance of the interplay between the 2 melodies. Fabulous interpretation of Vivaldi! And to clarify, Vivaldi was Italian but the piece is sung in Latin. Moreover, Vivaldi was a baroque composer, and singing w/out vibrato was appropriate for that time period. Brava!

  • @lifeinthegarden me too. I agree. your comment was spot on!

  • yes its latin! es latin

  • Very nice sound!, but the pronunciation is not so good. :| but I really like the sound :) Congrats! And, yes, it is Latin.

  • @fanofstuffedanimals Yes it is Latin I'm affraid. It's part of the Latin mass.

  • Very nice! So sweet the voices. Thanks!!

  • I like it more if it is classical sung...

    But you have good voices!

  • the blend on this is great, you 2 have great voices. the only thing i wish is that on the word "te" you said "teh" because it sounds like you are saying "tay." latin doesn't have dipthongs!

  • This is pop, why? The original is classic.

  • Absolutely beautiful. I know it's meant for classical voices, but I love the natural tone.

+ major kudos for the person playing that very intricate accompaniment on the guitar - awesome!

  • Absolutely lovely! The voices blend superbly and the accompaniment makes for a refreshing take on this lovely piece. Will there be more?

  • AlisonBradeley

How very lovely you sound together, and love Simon's musical accompaniment too. I'll be first in the que when the record comes out. Top Class cousins. Well Done.

  • Twantastic, hop pickers! Just love those swinging sibling sounds. Can't wait for the album. Not 'alf.

  • At first I was going to rip you girls a new one for not sounding classical enough, but I actually like this version. Latin could be improved, but I love the acoustic accompaniment, and your voices blend together angelically. Nice modern interpretation.
