I just preordered this today for the PC, this looks fucking awesome. I'm really happy to see an original, fun looking shooter today. I'm tired of all the modern warfare shit.
Now let me say that this year is HUGE for me and all of you....I mean i cant wait for uncharted 3, dark souls, SKYRIM!!!!!!!(lol), mass effect 3......and many more games that Im going to get but i have to admit...im really excited about prejudice guys...theres just something cool and catchy about section 8 and with this price point im expecting some serious competition from you all. DO not leave me alone playing with bots ok?! Buy this and come online!
i can't wait......this looks like a cross between TRIBES (yay) and Crysis. I think i may have just pee'd a little. Tribes is my all-time favorite game, and this looks wicked similar. I HOPE THE HAVE SERVER-SIDE MODS LIKE TRIBES! It was so fun modding tribes, they should bring that shit to this game. The game is an abvious rip off of tribes, they even have the armor that looks like "Blood Eagle" and "Diamond Sword" as screen shots.
I can't state just how bad i want to play this shit right now.

I hope that the sequel has alot more variety, like more weps, vehicals, etc. From the looks of this trailer this game has all of that. Also I hope that the single player will have a deeper story, in the last game it connected why your would play the multi-player but was kinda meh.

the thing i want them to take out is the switch team aspect because i think that was unfair becuse there was always a team switch who can't stand losing so they would always switch into another team online.
god i just hope they either took out the lock on aim,or toned it down A LOT cause it was annoying to always get locked on and you nearly die instantly,unless you had the senser blocker but it kept you from adding other equipment cause you didnt want to get mowed down by lock on fire -_-
@xXKidUniqueXx i heard from a beta tester (not that he told me anything special) that the lock on wasnt powerful in the sequel , he didnt describe excactly the new mechanics but he said that it was good and people who would rely on it would be on the bottom of the charts
Actually when I saw the trailer for the Section 8 decided to buy the game, but a friend of mine wanted to buy another and nearly bought was for the S8, the truth esque entertains a lot, this new game seems even more surprising and entertaining. I think not hesitate to buy it, is a great game.
I beta tested section 8 from beginning to end and loved every single moment. Even though I wish it had a bigger more engrossing story/campaign mode its easily one of my all time favorite games. do to a heavy rally against this game at release I was terrified the game would simply die. Hopefully this time it gets the reception it deserved the first time. I cant wait to play the sequel and hope I make B round 2 but if not I still plan to own this upon release. see you on the servers people PEACE!
I hope there will be more DLCs this time, as only one (Seek and Destroy) wasn't enough! And, I hope the PC version will be GfWL again so that I can add up some achievements there too ;-)
Because GFWL is horrible in comparison to Steam. Steam has many more features and is being improved all the time. It works much better with the PC and isn't some crap console port of a job like GFWL.
@wazups2x At least Microsoft themselves made a public apology stating that they know they haven't given gfwl, or pc gamers in general any attention, and have been catering more to their console side of things.
We'll see how the improved gfwl client does, I'm not holding my breath, but ah who knows. All I care about is the beta for section 8 prejudice :P

If you look around you can find S8 on sale generally for 5 to 6 bucks! What a steal. PC community is very friendly to noobs. You can always ask questions and they will go out of your way to help you. If you see a LOD member I guarantee hee will help you. Just tell him ScorpiusDoom sent ya. He will perk right up and anwser any questions you might have and give you some tips!

AWESOME! Time Gate stood their ground and stayed true to their word about expanding the Section 8 universe! All of the crying by the HALO and MW2 fan boys could not stop the momentum S8. But man they sure tried I have never seen a game take so much undeserved crap by so many ill-informed people!! They came out in droves to hate on S8 and they never even played it! Goes to show you how good S8 really was and how scared all the H.R., MW2, and cry-sis Fan baby's were of the potential of this game!

Section 8 not Prejudice, loos like BF2142 on dope pretty much straight up my alley but i remember when it came out my PC couldn't run it very well so I never even got passed the second SP mission.
@Magix13 yes it does still have a active pc community. Though it is not a large community it is a loyal community! There are two main clans, TAW and My clan LOD a couple of other smaller clans. But PC players are very loyal! We have taken a lot of hits most games would not have survived. But we believe in S8! Nobody who has actually played it long enough to really learn it has ever disliked it.

impress at what they going to do like make the sniper stronger now flaming greneds and the knife being improved with a fatailty button and the new weapons are looking awesome like the pulse cannon looks very interesting.
@Scorpiusdoom i dont think it was amazing, it was good because it took the quake style game or for people who dont know quake star wars battlefield, and tried to take it to the next level to make it more, lets say, open to eveyone, i think that it was scared halo, CoD or Gears players, and then theres the trolls of course. but for me what section 8 did well was to take quake and change it into a more... simple game, if you follow me. and i think if they carry on it will be as successful as sw:bf
Section 8 is undoubtedly one of the best multiplayer shooters ever. I'm incredibly (and pleasantly) surprised there's a sequel coming! Here's to hoping they keep what made S8 so good: the reliance on team work, the extreme amount of health, etc.
First game was really fun, best $15 I have ever spent on PSN. But honestly, I hope this game doesn't come out at full $60 retail value like the first one, because I think that stopped a lot of people from even giving the first game a try.

If more players gave it a chance, I think there would be more playing it
This looks like they have really expanded it, new vehicles, enviroments and such
Hopefully theres more than one game mode, like an Assault Conquest or something like that
But still, I love the first one, and I probably will this one!

Still, I'm afraid that they just might dumb it down and speed it way up just to get into the main stream market.
