to train explosiveness/quickness, the training concept is to move the weight/bar as fast as possible. Fast movement trains the muscle fibers to recruit quickly, therefore generate more power; versus a slow movement used more to gain mass or beach muscles. If you wanted to get a punching motion measurement, you would need to use a pulley system and place the Myotest on the weight stack. This also applies for any rotational measurements.
i dont understand what the point of this exercise is, does it work ur chest more to me it looks dangerous even on the smith

can we use the same method but stand up and grip the myotest to determin the force of your hand speed/power? setting the device to 0lbs of course..
