What I don't understand about the Patterson film though, is that..when the supposed bigfoot turned and looked straight at the camera...WHY would it still calmly keep walking afterwards? It seems like common sense that when an animal senses that it's being watched, it instantly starts to run.
I wish nat geo would stick to gorgeous photojournalism, and leave myths and magical creatures to the syfy channel. Between this and pushing global warming as the cause of everything from the dinosaurs' extinction to drinking in Alaska, something is wrong.
..and mind you, the only evidence evolutionists have ever had in the major media of any worth has been fraudulent and only debunked later. It's always hyped as "evolutionists finally find missing link", the debunking usually isn't as lavishly accepted in the press or as widely acclaimed. So we end up with century old frauds still in textbooks and a refusal by the community to remove them. This sort of fraudulence should be prosecuted as a felony if it isn't already.
Its a person in a suit. The movement of the lower torso gives it away. The movement isn't natural. The hair doesn't move like natural hair despite what is stated in the documentary. Turn the volume off and just watch the movement. It doesn't look right at all. Looks more like someone walking inside a barrel albeit a small one. And scientific hoaxes by evolutionists especially tend to involve people who would know all this stuff - how to move, etc. IMHO, just another evo fraud.
@havoc092 scientific studies showed that no way is it a man in a suit.. it proved that a man cannot walk the way it walked and that the position of its head to its shoulders is way different than a mans..the creature was shown to be well over 6ft tall. and they didnt have gorilla suits that complex when the film was shot...every credible test showed its a living creature not a man in a suit.. i guess its easier to deny than being proved wrong
@210daved1 Scientific studies with insufficient information in the context of a made for tv
bit of sensationalism isn't exactly what I'd call a clear cut case. A man in a suit most certainly could duplicate that walk. Hollywood's been doing just that for years - Planet of the apes, for instance. And, it looks like a person in a suit - not a creature. The movement of the hips is a dead giveaway. It looks like a heavy person in a tight fitting outfit. Experts = quacks.
Lewis and Clark record in their journals the abundant population of Deer, Elk, and rivers off Salmon in the North West. There is , however, no mention of Yeti, Sasquatch, or any genetic variation in their writings. And, as an avid reading of hunting stories, I have also never heard of such mention in other books--aside from sci-fi, or pop-culture references. One would think, by now-at least, that some wealthy industrialist would have had a specimen mounted and hanging in a famous museum.
I have hunted the North West since I was in junior high. The people I associate with, hunt. The things we talk about are hunting. The dreams and aspirations we have are about mammoth hunting trophies. Considering that this film was filmed in the North West, then it is consistent logically that if there is a "Big Foot" that somebody somewhere would have seen something somewhere: no droppings(poop), consistent sitings, or off-spring, or dens, Or bones.
This iconic film, not only, was proven a hoax, but by the creators who filmed it. Sasquatch lives in infamy by the needs of insecure people who want to believe there is something out there. You know the type, conspiracy theorists. I know this video brags high tech gadgets, but remember, this is just to beguile you.
Better to leave Bigfoot alone. If he is ever proven to exist, the Chinese will eat whatever population is left. They eat every other animal into near extinction, Bigfoot would be wiped out in 4 months.

LoLz the Patterson/Gimlen film is a fake, they admitted they faked it with a modified gorilla suit.

@llathrum you are wrong.. they never admitted it was a fake.. recent scientific tests show that no way it could have been a man in a suit.
