@galenator123 You might find that after a few runs it starts making the sound, too. I don't know why, but the engines seem to get better after a few runs sometimes (assuming no leaks, etc.)
Its really easy to make an oil lamp. Just get a little piece of aluminum foil and make it a little concave. Fill it with a few drops of vegetable oil. Put a short piece of cotton string—it cant be synthetic--half in the oil and half out. The oil will wick up the string. Light it.

@TheChickeneer I'm not crazy about "tea candles" because they don't put out as much heat, but some people use them.

try glueing the candle on the holder but make the holder sort of a bowl form

@kiepskipolak Yes, and melting it on with a lighter--the same idea.

hw do you use tea candles for this?
mo0lie 1 year ago
@mo0lie I'm not a big fan of tea candles because many have a tiny flame. But if you use them, just light and push them under the engine.

can u use tealight candles for this??
sergentpersonsballs2 2 years ago
Tea candles are not as hot, so the engine takes longer to start and is not as loud or fast, but some people like them.
