  • o gosh thank u

  • ur amazing dude my teacher is retard litterally and she cant teach wats so ever and she taught these for 3 classes and i didnt get it and u taught it in under 10 minutes. im ready for her test@!

  • @911CamNewton I wish my own kids would watch these. I taught this topic today and all that met me were rows of glassy eyes. Thanks for the kudos on this.

  • worlds best teacher my teacher can teach this to us in 45 minutes and i still don't get it but cus of u i learned it in 6 minutes and u saved 39minutes of my life.

  • thank you

  • OH MY GOD. I can't believe that it was as easy as that. I was absent when this was lectured, so I had a hard time keeping up. Thanks for this video!

  • you're my ideal teacher! thank you for this, sir :) my teacher is no help AT ALL

  • Thx man :)

  • iam in my 10th grade and learing about chemistry and you have really helped me a alot thanks!

  • words do no justice to how much you have helped me. Thank you!

  • Science... The answer to life.

  • how do you figure out where the dots go ?

  • @stephyseedapari Lewis Dot Structure...

  • How can I know the electronegativity of more than 2 atoms? Please help me, I really need help.

  • I habe to agree with everyone else. You are fucking amazing! Amit is so incredibly nice of you to share all this knowledge for free and everything! Thank you so much, you kind of save my life..

  • Why didn't I think to get on youtube six weeks ago!! In my last week of school and STRUGGLING! I have learned more from you in just three videos than I did in six weeks/ 5 hour days! Just lettin you know. You are GREAT.

  • You are a great chemistry teacher!

  • i wish u were my chem teacher xD You make this so much easier!! Thank you ;D

  • me and my friend have a test on this tomorrow, and this just saved our lives. :D

  • Oh my god I have a final in this tomorrow, thank you so much for reteaching it to me!

  • I liked this twice

  • YAAAY! THIS WAS UPLOADED THE DAY AFTER MY 15TH BIRTHDAY!!! Also Mr Rosengarten, I wish you would come to my school and (this 1 of those mad theories that involves the theme "who will win?"!) get involved in a "chem off" with my teacher, you have mad teaching skills! If you weren't here, if I didn't find you, me learning chemistry would be like trying to survive Skull Island armed with a pistol that only has 7 bullets left - sooner or later I would have been screwed! Thank you Mark Rosengarten!

  • THIS IS SOOOO HELPFUL YOU HAVE NO IDEA! I am about to write my IB exam on monday and I am reviewing EVERYTHING! This was a great help! I plan to watch the majority of your series!

  • Perfect.

  • I would fail chemistry if not for this man! I'm so thankful!!

  • Thanks SOOOOOOO much you helped me understand this subject so much easier!

  • Another two questions. If a bond still have unpaired electrons, can it still bond with other non metals? And can covalent compounds form between metalloids

  • How do you know how many unpaired electrons an atom has?

  • If Covalent bonds are stronger than ionic bonds, why does ionic bond require higher boiling point than covalent bond to break the bonds. Can you help me understand this please.

  • @dhaccessories No, no, no...when you melt a molecular substance (one formed from covalent bonds) you DON'T BREAK THE BONDS. What you are doing is breaking the attractive forces between the molecules, not the bonds themselves. When you melt ionic compounds, the bond DOES break. Ionic bonds are weaker than covalent bonds, but stronger than the attractive forces between molecules.

  • @MarkRosengarten aka, physical change

  • @gameboyy888 BINGO!!! :)

  • oh my god. i have a test tomorrow and you made me completely understand this topic. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

  • you are so much better than my shittey chemistry teacher

  • @maartenman95 idd Maarten:P

  • You teach me something in a couple of minutes, my teacher needed six weeks for the same information. And still your explanation is way better!

  • dude ur a beast at chem lol....can i sed this 2 my teach they need to learn how 2 teach

  • thank you sooooo much this made my chemistry TEE class easer thx again

  • How would you draw HSO4- as a covalent bond dot diagram?

  • Your a great teach you need to make more videoz

  • Great Teacher, you make the information seem easier to understand!

  • thank you thank you thank you

  • well presented, excellent . What a difference from my chem class, it sucked.

    Thanks,

    Best Regards

  • our school should really hire him!!thank you Mark!

  • <- - I agreeeeee with matheurisley

  • please please please teach my teacher how to teach he is so boring that i cant listen but now i understand thank you

  • aaaah now i know how, ty Mark

  • You are brilliant. I just love watching your videos.

  • My teachers use smart boards too!

  • You are an awesome teacher. Thanks to your video, now I know when to form 2 or 3 covalent bonds. I didn't get that before. But I still can't comprehend how to decide where to put atoms in a structural formula when I have more than 4 atoms. It's like I'm not sure which atoms should share with which others, or when is necessary to create a cordinate covalent bond.

  • You are an awesome teacher I understand everything when you teach it,

    Thank you!!!!!!!

  • omg thank you so much sir..this just saved my life. been trying to get around this for ages and now i think i actually understand. THANKYOU!

  • Thank God I found your video! You should be my teacher. Thank you very much

  • i've been trying to get my head round this for ages, this is brilliant

  • How come Beryllium Cloride has a bond similar to covalent rather than ionic?

  • i wish you were my teacher

  • Of all the chemistry vids on youtube yours are the best, you communicate very effectively. Thanks for posting!!!!!!

  • Sir you are awesome! Just as good as Khanacadamy.

    Thank you

  • thank u sir i have been gone throuh ur lectures during my assignments....u teach us in a different way...i have done all my organic part by listening ur lectures....thanks.

  • My chem teacher SUCKS with explaining this to us. He just writes them on the board and we copy. Then afterwards he gave us this sheet. Which had none of the same stuff he showed us. Im so lost on where you put the dots to draw the circles!

  • Amazing teaching method. Kudos to you

  • thank you so much :)

  • You are GREAT Mark !!! Thank you soooo much for such a good info and the way you pressent it slides into my brain so well :-D !!!! Thank you! Thank you !!! Chemistry is fun with you !
