  • Hey i have the av30's too and I'm looking into buying new monitors shortly, is it worth the $200 to upgrade to these or should i just wait

  • @HomeTracks how are the lows?

  • First of all great review. I have a question though. Are these speakers good choice for my pro tools/mbox3 setup where I generally do metal songs/instrumentals? Many thanks.

  • No disrespect, I don't understand how people can make video reviews on reference monitors. It's good to let us know your opinion on the product, but it would be better if people went to the actual music store and take a look at the monitors and hear it in person rather than listening to it over youtube. Thanks for your opinion on the monitors though.

  • what do you think about their low frequ. end? should i consider buying Bluesky Exo2, since they have a subwoofer ? or should i spend 300 bucks on some headphones? atm i have nothing for monitoring, but i couldnt use headphones to replace my shity speakers :(

  • Take these one *dreaming*

    ADAM S3X-V

  • Hi, great video, extremely helpful. Will definitely subscribe.

Did you receive any TRM Balanced Jack or XLR Cables with the speakers to connect to an external interface, or just a power adaptor and a Standard RCA phono cable?

    Thanks a lot.

    Lora x

  • These sound so great on my shity speakers.

  • KRK SUK, dynaudio bm6as and up, 12as, 15as, KRK eeehhhh a joke

  • @SkyFilmography Those cost so much more though.

  • @SkyFilmography for the money the KRKs are great. Many of us can't afford to spend big bucks on monitors. KRK 5s come in at around $300 for the pair.

  • @SkyFilmography Genelec, Adam and Mackie. Top of the line shit. I personally favour the Genelec's

  • My brother and I are planning on getting these for our music studio. Could we use these speakers as regular speakers for ipods/laptops as well as for the studio use?

  • Hi, i listen to a bunch of music on youtube and i want to know if they are good as regular speakers? please respond thank you

  • @lalo92243 if you mean as powered speakers for your computer... they would be top notch.

  • @lalo92243 thats really not the point of monitor speakers! monitors are made to show the sound bare naked so you can precisely find out the flaws of your mix. a good mix will defenetly sound awesome one these. vice versa a bad sound quality, which on youtube it absolutly is, it will sound like shit through the krk's. noise or unsharp highs are covered by most hifi-speakers which the krk's wont. so if you want to listen to musik on youtube you're far better of with hifi-speakers...

  • ableton live ?

  • Can you use these as regular speakers?

  • @RooftopDoerfler they have RCA inputs so could connect to an iPod so that should work fine. they are self powered so you don't use an amp to drive them.

  • @HomeTracks so do you think there worth buying?

  • @RooftopDoerfler they were for me. based on my set up and requirements they are perfect.

  • they are 150, not 300 dollars

  • @SoRusted thanks.. in the video I said they were $150 each. they are $300 for the pair.

  • @HomeTracks really? I thought thats cost of a complect, I mean who would buy one monitor

  • Can these be used with the M-Audio Fast Track Pro? Please Respond

  • @TheRealRomeoLove these speakerscan be connected to a device that has TRS or RCA stereo outs. Fast Track Pro has both.

  • What exactly is the HF level adjust?

  • @HeyImTylaa High frequency level control. allows you to adjust highs for your rooms acoustics.

  • @HomeTracks Oh haha makes sense. Thanks :)

  • right now im using M-audio av 30's, mostly with pro tools, play my guitar through them and it sounds impressive, KRK 5's would be my next upgrade choice, how do you think they would sound cranking my distorted guitar signal through them?? Thanks

  • @chickabuka honestly... i wouldn't crank distorted guitar through them. that's what amps are for.

  • @HomeTracks Thanks, i dont have a lot invested into the m-audio's and they sound really good via the guitar settings on my pro tools, your KRK's sound killer.

  • im gonna buy them!
