Back when this video was made, town scrolls didn't work in NLC, so it wasn't a possible option of leaving the map.

Or they can Teleport Rock out of the map if they're super impatient.

Inaccessible to the public by normal means. The only way to get in was to exploit the Mystic Door mechanic, which lead to a map that was closed off and unfinished.

It was included in the NLC release patch and was supposed to be one of the first expansions to NLC long ago. When Nexon released the Haunted House portion they updated the map to polish it up, but when CWK came out it kinda got pushed aside as Nexon "claimed" the "Vine Jungle" area was gonna be the 2nd expansion.

It's "Forbidden", because we aren't supposed to be allowed in that map. There's a reason why it was blocked off from the public due to it still be updated back then.

There's also the fact that after a small Patch later on, Nexon closed off the map entirely and the only way to get to the map now is if you were still in it when the patch it or if you hack your way to it.

This "Forbidden" Map, was never supposed to be entered.

It is the Test map where they Tested all of the NLC reactors. Since gMS was the original creator of New Leaf City they had to have a test map, so they could test there creations. I'm sure other versions of MS have "Forbidden" Areas as well. ThaiMS, with Siam, MSea with Ulu city, Etc.

This map is also known as the Debug Map.

Back when this video was made, Return scrolls didn't work in NLC. Whenever you tried to use one, you would get the error "You cannot use that here."

1. Kill themself

2. VIP / Teleport rock out

3. Get another priest to door them out.

NLC scrolls weren't released yet and the Return scrolls didn't work in NLC. If you try to use a scroll you get the error "You can not go to that place" or something similar.

Yeah, pretty much. The only way to return to NLC is by Mystic Door or dying. Town scrolls don't work [and still don't work] and I doubt someone would pay NX just to get a VIP rock. =/
