I was born into poverty with no visible opportunity to escape, but i have. The people who i grew up with, who are still there, are the unintelligent ones who as a direct result of their behavior/mind set/I.Q still live in the same place, complaining. It is Woodene. My grandparents lived on the 5th floor. They were moved there by the council in 1963 and by the time my grandad died in 1981 the estate was run down. After my nan died in 1987 I was glad I didn't have to go there again, though I still live in the area. Imagine my feeling of joy when I saw Woodene being demolished! When I was a kid in the 1970s we called it the Kremlin because it looked so hostile and uninviting. It should not have been built in the first place.
