I worked on the Sooty stage show several times in the realy 90s and Connie was always a wonderful lady to know - consummate professional and wonderful friends - my thoughts are with you John!

I remember Connie when she was the female entertainer at Rockley Sands Holiday Park near Bournemouth back in 1964. I was 9 at the time I had such a crush on her--she was lovely. Seeing her in this clip took me back--she looks no different facially to what she did then when she was 30 (obviously older) but I could see it was her immediately. RIP Connie--you will be sadly missed by many people who you gave so much happiness.

I went to her funeral today. she was a good friend and a brilliant person.
