So i got to the bridge with the dragon and guess what no dragon. I back tracked to the area where they rest and no dragon there either. I got all of the treasure without any of the fire.
Finally got to the bridge and the damn dragon killed me.
But this game is a good challenge for me...gonna take me weeks to beat and I'm still excited as hell to pick up Dark Souls tomorrow night. (midnight release ftw!)
The red dragon never shot fire when it attacked the bridge my first time? It would just keep flying over everytime I went to draw enemies out and scream. Lucky glitch? Because I ended up having to kill all the enemies on my own with the dragon not shooting fire.
I thought I'd try to kill the dragon on the first bridge by standing on the front behind the wood. I used all my spice, bolts and throwing knives only to have him run away... He stopped attacking once I got his life low :(

at 0:33 if you go left you encounter 2 dragons, although if i try to get in range to hit them with magic/arrows, he kills me, anyone know how to kill them?

This game isn't a game you just "go through" on your first try. You have to sit there and think before you just rush in and kill yourself. Sure you'll probably die a bunch in the process but you have to learn what your enemies moves are.

This game is defective part of the enjoyment in a game is progress, I will never buy a game from this company, it is a good game for someone with no life and can spend endless hours in a torturous loop with minor results my suggestion is do not make a sequel.

@supesusuki Heck, i think this game is harder than the original nes zelda game. I died so many times in the original game due to the fact your blocking was hindered. Atlus makes games that give us a blast from the past, 3D dot game heroes is a homage to zelda, with almost the same original dificulty.

i think my game was bugged, that knight you rescued i found going the opposite direction (so he never helped me) then i found him walking into the side of the path. then when i got to the part 1:28 on the video there was never a dragon. later the part right before it (0:59) i never saw the dragon toast the guys (until i came the other direction) this is when i saw two dragons at 1:28 before that point there was none and i just looted stuff =]
@BlackFrop there are th white world/dimensions and black dimensions. idk how they are triggered but they affect the entire game make the levels totally different, but white is always the easiest way, in the nexus yu can check the worlds color.

Demon's Souls doesn't have checkpoints. You die, and you start the level from the beginning in soul form (half or less hp) and lose all the souls that you collected. Though you can recover them, returning in the spot where you died.
Yeah, this game is evil.
The fog walls are merely something to stop Black Phantoms from raiding your entire area.
@Arch0Alex Or if you die you can press the ps button and quit the game and you don't have to start all the way from the beginning and you dont lose anything.
There is an easy way around losing your souls when you die, although it is a bit of a nuisance and you are in essence cheating the game by doing it, simply press the PS button and quit the game before the “You Died” screen disappears.
Ok.. I got every item by the dragon, except the furthest one with the dragon turned wooshing his tail. Dont go for it.. It 1 hits you with his tail. I managed to pick up the item.. But never a chance to roll away.
@TakeOnNE1 Hey if you haven't found out yet, if you kill the red dragon while positioned at the first tower on the bridge. Once you do that, you can go back and get the other ring that the blue dragon's tail is protecting. I just got that today. It's the Endurance ring. PSN: dmajor11
@ZackSFC I've died around 7 or 8 times on this level when i started, and i think thats a lot. The enemies on this are pretty easy, when i see people's bloodstains i notice the main reason people die on this level is because they just swing away and constantly let themselves get hit, never put their guard up. What killed me is trying to fight the red eyed knight with the spear and shield that kicks ass. Then the trap with the boulders since i didn't activate htem to kill the line of soldiers.
@ZackSFC i died once on this stage ....if youd want to call it that... since i started this game and it was because of the red eyed knight i thought he would be really easy like the blue eyed knight.... nope

how do you get past the long bridge after the phalanx boss corridor? I play stage 1-1 and never died until I got to that part, then I died. the fire from the dragon breathe instantly vaporized me.

hey quik qustion how do you use that attack where its like a cutscene and your sword goes through them? do you do something or does it automaticlly do it depending on the situation?
Ok, to kill the knight with red eyes guys. If you are a knight, soilder or temple knight. Even a wander. I have learned is have a shield. Shields cause spears to break and you can use a heavy attack. Try and lure him back to where he was bc you need a wide area to fight him. Spears are good in tight quarters but aweful in wide areas. After that time his moves dodge and wail on him. Care though about stamina. Don't fight him till you have fought the Temple knight tho. And have a +1 weapon.
my lord I KNOW. I have been trying to kill him for the passed 7 days.. and I am PISSED because I had him down to one hit left (for me too unfortunately) and in the moment I got a little cocky and decided to use a healing herb real quick.. BIG mistake, he got me..
The last game I just finished 5 minutes ago he got me right behind where he stands.. so now I am probably fucked for getting me 10,000+ souls back. :@!!!
you can fight the dragons at the towers past the phalanx boss, its alot easier there, bring a bow/ crossbow and at least 100 shots tho, could take a while depending :/

@TakeOnNE1 Hey if you haven't found out yet, if you kill the red dragon while positioned at the first tower on the bridge. Once you do that, you can go back and get the other ring that the blue dragon's tail is protecting. I just got that today. It's the Endurance ring. PSN: dmajor11

@ZackSFC I've died around 7 or 8 times on this level when i started, and i think thats a lot. The enemies on this are pretty easy, when i see people's bloodstains i notice the main reason people die on this level is because they just swing away and constantly let themselves get hit, never put their guard up. What killed me is trying to fight the red eyed knight with the spear and shield that kicks ass. Then the trap with the boulders since i didn't activate htem to kill the line of soldiers.

First time playing I did only die a few times.
Once at the first white hole near the archer, was curious if it was a jump
Once at the red knight, was curious if I could take him
Once on the stairs by one of those fire sword holding creatures (His spam attack got me by suprice)
Once by falling down the staircase.
A grand total of 4 deaths on first time play trough.

how do you get past the long bridge after the phalanx boss corridor? I play stage 1-1 and never died until I got to that part, then I died. the fire from the dragon breathe instantly vaporized me.

You have to wait on the bridge for awhile. When she starts to breath fire, you run back into the corridor.

Question here... I know this game is a bitch when it comes to punishing you when you die. But when you open the large gate that leads you to the phalanx, if before entering you choose to go back to the Nexus, then come back, will the gate still be open?

hey quik qustion how do you use that attack where its like a cutscene and your sword goes through them? do you do something or does it automaticlly do it depending on the situation?

You need to parry the atack (press L2 just when the sword is about to hit you) and then press R1 to 1 hit kill or at least do masive damage.
I think you also get around 20% more souls if you do that or the back stabbing stuff.

You have to press R2 with another weapon or shield in your left hand when they attack and then attack them with your other weapon.

Ok, to kill the knight with red eyes guys. If you are a knight, soilder or temple knight. Even a wander. I have learned is have a shield. Shields cause spears to break and you can use a heavy attack. Try and lure him back to where he was bc you need a wide area to fight him. Spears are good in tight quarters but aweful in wide areas. After that time his moves dodge and wail on him. Care though about stamina. Don't fight him till you have fought the Temple knight tho. And have a +1 weapon.

my lord I KNOW. I have been trying to kill him for the passed 7 days.. and I am PISSED because I had him down to one hit left (for me too unfortunately) and in the moment I got a little cocky and decided to use a healing herb real quick.. BIG mistake, he got me..
The last game I just finished 5 minutes ago he got me right behind where he stands.. so now I am probably fucked for getting me 10,000+ souls back. :@!!!

you will kill him first time with soul arrow while he charges into those catapult things and u stand back. 2000 souls..

you can fight the dragons at the towers past the phalanx boss, its alot easier there, bring a bow/ crossbow and at least 100 shots tho, could take a while depending :/
