@DJBVentures yes, it is available from "Smooth On" . Their silicon had better high temperature specs that most others. I actually wanted to do pewter which melts right at the limit of most silicon products. You can use eutectic metals which melt at lower temperatures but are also more expensive.
Very incredible detail. I love how intricate pewter models can be, I've been fascinated by them allot for the past year or so having bought a few pewter miniatures.

@ LunicInformer - Aluminum melts at about 2000° C (3600° F)... The video indicates that this particular silicone is only good to about 600° F...

Hi, no unfortunately this was from a baby tortoise that died. It hatched prematurely. It is kind of a memorial.
