i'm playing the third dance and he's playing with quite a few rubatos that i do not play with, but the melody seems very clear. he's impressive, especially for his age!
The video and sound were separated in some points, especially at the end, but other than that this was amazing and I enjoyed it very much. When I finally finish learning this piece I hope I can do it justice!
These dances are an Argentinean theme folk, so i must that the first and the third dance needs to be worked a little bit more, because they don´t express "the soul" of the pieces, but on the other hand, i haven´t heard before a kid this age playing so wonderfully, definitely a rising star.
I was unable to understand how ANYONE the age of George Li could beat George in a piano contest ... until I saw this. Still, we owe a great debt of gratitude to George and his father for their generosity in posting over 100 videos of George's playing. It's so difficult to get a video of Aristo playing a complete piece. We want more!!
I do not want to make a comparison between Aristo Sham and George Li on the last movement. Two obviously have their own styles. George's leaves more breathe between beats and more involving which makes people want to dance to the music, while Aristo's apparently brings out a lot of details that was not quite heard in George's play. Both are fabulously wonderful in musical sense as well as in their techniques.
Utterly amazing - bravo!

for the first dance- could someone recommend a way of strengthening and increasing the control in the left hand? - the 4th and 5th fingers

Excellent playing..."PERFECT" acoustics...
Grade A piano... and professional recording all formulas for a wonderful presentation !!!
Rather than compare George and Aristo, I think it would be best to enjoy their music. Each one has his own strengths!
