the scene where he is alone in the house and suddenly just hears the faint sound of the rocking chair on the floorboards upstairs gradually getting louder as it rocks faster and faster is truly the scariest thing i have ever experienced in live theatre. i think it was partly so scary because you can relate to moments when ur alone and there a strange noise that u cant quite identify and then u suddenly realise what the sound is as the character in the play does. pure horror

its so eerie at the end when the younger guy who's name escapes me says he loves kipps' surprise and asks himhow he got the woman to show up. and kipps says there was no woman. his surprise was that he memorized his lines. its so creepy!

Well ... the same goes for them! Anyone who goes looking for bits of a play (or film or TV show etc.) should be prepared to see people discussing it.

Well no not really, People look for the trailers....clips etc, shuld be prepared to see somefin frm the play, bt not ppl telling them how it ends....Why discuss the ending? :S

First off, nobody really gave away any hugely important plot information. Secondly, this isn't a trailer, this is a video clip of a bit from the play, which could quite possibly give away a lot of information anyway. And thirdly, if you haven't seen the play but you absolutely MUST watch crappy handheld videos of it, you should expect the majority of the discussion to be from people who have seen the play.

I therefore have no sympathy for anyone who ruins it for themselves.
