you may know this already.... you may not... but for whomever does not know, NEVER touch your crops like that, always touch the stem... Otherwise you are decreasing the THC levels every time you handle them, the crystals stick to your hands instead of staying with the plant.

@nitsuj1231 Think about it this way... you grow the plant for the buds, because they contain the THC, which forms primarily as resin., when you cure, you are equalizing the resin throughout the buds. The more you touch the buds before they are harvested, the more potency you lose in your crop, so even if it is only 10% or less that you lose... its still less potent than it could be, true?

get your hands on a PPM/EC meter man, going off what the back of the nutrients say isn't the best idea. you get a consistent amount of nutrients each time with a meter, not to mention you can test your run off water to see how much of your nutes the plant is actually eating/absorbing.

Awesome videos man, really informative. But for future reference, that is not a hydroponic grow, its a soiless grow. Your still using a grow medium, just not soil (dirt). A.K.A. - "soiless" (In your logic, dirt will also be "hydroponic" because you still need to water and feed same as your doing now). Out of all the hydroponic systems, yours is closest to an "ebb and flow" system. Awesome job either way, a happy plant is a happy plant. Just not a hydro setup.

The PH level is very important, I noticed my plants growing next to a brick wall were doing heaps better than the ones in the veggie garden, The lime in the mortar had been leaching from water hitting the wall stabilizing the PH of the soil, Ive been using lime ever since.
