cheers for that well explained and made learning the song a damn lot easier especially that bad boy named chord in the chorus sounds hard but quite easy to play. Was using different tabs that were way out. Thanks again.
Strugglng with the timing of the chord change during intro/verse...I've prett much got the strum pattern as: d-du-du-du (down/up) but can't figure out whether the change happens after the first up, the second one, or during the middle of the second d/u...?
I find after the first up easier to play but it doesn't quite sound right to me. Cheers.
Well that's cool. I'm from the United States but you don't see me bragging about it. Thanks for the vid, it's was great. Love Oasis. And yeah, I would ask Noel to bring bring the whole "British" thing down a touch. Haha.....take care.
Hey Clint love your Cover and lesson both excellent, can i just ask a quick Q about the cover, it seems that you strum the intro and the verses slightly different, just wondering is that intentional or is it just easier to play that way whilst singing? Thanks again , I have it nailed just not so sure about that tiny detail.
@cobstructive yeh tbh my friend that is more than likely me just not paying that much attention and whilst singing playing it slightly different, thanks for the props and glad you liked the lesson and cover :)
first.....I have to take a really deep breath and blow all the dust off of my guitar case. Then I have to call my brother Mike over for a BBQ and hope that he will tune my guitar. Then I have to buy a capo and place it in the 4th or 5th fret....then....ignore that bloody sexy accent and learn to play this song. I think I could do it.
@Necheva lol lol lol lose the bloody accent.......................... would you say that to Noel......mmmmmmm i think not.......my son was born and bred in Manchester just as Noel was ..........-Babsie
@babs2002ukus I dunno if he was being serious or not. But what a funny comment. This was so cool Babs - I think Clint should do more of these...or even a separate tutorial channel !
10 stars for the courage to do a tutorial and you did it so well my dear...I don’t play the guitar -except of „Blowing in the wind“;o) - but if I ever start to play it’s because of your tutorial –SMILE- I think your version is better than the original…you have the better voice…No, I’m no “brown noser”, just let my ears speak…;oD
do you have the tabs posted sopmewhere??
