have you guys even thought about this? you are attacking the people that protect you and keep your beloved ones safe, because you started to destroying stores and shit, and they tried to stop you, you fucking idiots are destroying you own fucking city.. this world is lost..
@dgia1000 Where on earth did you get that information? This was Parliament Square - there are no shops there. Nothing was attacked or destroyed until the police began to kettle those people (school kids, university students, parents, teachers, lecturers, trade unionsts and so on). Then again, why let facts get in the way of prejudice eh?
It was so good to see the students stroking the horses at the beginning of this film. Clearly they're not anarchist thugs. The police also showed restraint and waved their batons in the air rather then harming anyone. It saddens me that education was brought in by Elizabeth 1st to control the Catholic/Protestant problem that her father created. Now the masses think they have the right to be educated and volunteer to be controlled. We really need some intelligent leadership in this country.
Right i think everyone has a right to protest - but a peaceful protest! - I'm a student myself and the amount of violence here is just unacceptable - Because we were violent we actually lost the support of more people rather than gained any. The police were a little heavy handed and brutal in some cases but in others i would say we deserved it. There is no excuse for this sort of behaviour.
from mrdavidsmithism- couldnt have put it better myself
Shame on who exactly? Shame on the disgraceful 'students' and the many other disgusting people that behave in this manner and expect decent taxpaying people to support them. Shame on you throwing objects at police officers and horses. Shame on you smashing up the streets, cars and buildings. I am almost ashamed to be British when I see my fellow countrymen behaving in this way and all for what? I know these words fall on deaf, stupid ears but I pray one day YOU will be ashamed and regret this.
Do people expect they can destroy public and private property, and then get sympathy too? If you are going to get violent, expect some violence in return. Pussies.
@TrickWithAKnife They didn't begin by destroying public property, they got kettled first. I was there as an observer and watched the whole thing unfold. On what evidence (beside mere prejudice) do you assert that "people" destroyed public property first and then the police responded?
@TrickWithAKnife I was there. I am a journalist and that day decided to follow the policing of the protest. keep in mind that this protest started out as a peaceful one and the majority of the demostrators are peaceful. Its because of the police brutality which cause people to react violently. You wouldnt know anything about resistance because you are a slave to the bullshit information the media feeds you ass. wake up

@MegaChasse you are more stupid than i even imagined. of course violence works, it is the only thing that works, which is why our government is so keen to use it on its own peoples and peoples of other countries. you dumb arse
Why chant shame on you at the men and women who are trying to do their jobs. Trying to keep law and order. Those officers were risking their lives there, as if one had been dragged into the ground God only knows what would have happened to them. Anyone with half a brain cell who actually watches this video can tell that the police had every right to use the force they did, as the opposing force was worse, and if they hadn't been wearing protective clothing they would have been seriously injured.
I'm guessing before this violence, the crowd was asked to leave. Then when the majority ignored this you were to told to leave. You can't call the police thugs, especially when you are shouting abuse, throwing sticks and stones and attacking the police with sticks. The metal fence wasn't being passed over as a barrier, as there was no need for a barrier, you just had to go home. As soon as that barrier got to the front it would have been used as a weapon.
@MegaChasse What on Earth are you talking about..... and why have you got no profile, are you an antagonist my friend? I at no point have been against the police, my Question was why are the met police not wearing MeT badges, and Keep Loyal animals out of Hooligan Violence, now return your head to that special place.
@zephranna01 I bow to your wisdom fuckwit........ What on Earth would I want to be in London protesting for. you do exactly what you want with the shithole, I'll stay in My country watching you fannies fighting and if You come anywhere near my Home i will stick your baton up your arse and then your thick skull up your horse's arse and feed both off you to the fish. hahahahahahaha........
People need to get off this Left, Right bullshit. It doesn't exist. It's been Fascism for sometime, Why is it people find this so hard to understand? "Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power".Benito Mussolini. "Government is the shadow cast upon society by big business". John Dewey.
i think the bottom line is a peaceful protest would have gone unnoticed, with this reactions the MPs have been able to see peoples reactions which they can hardly ignore... i hate to think what will actually happen when they raise the fees in 2012.
i do think some individuals took it too far but the police didn't help the situation...
Many police are just good people who want to protect the innocent. However those here, grinning as they're hitting unarmed individuals, are just fucking aggressive thugs who are too cowardly to join the army but nonetheless want to cause pain to people. They're far too stupid to realise that their jobs are going to be next.
@hail55storm Cowards? Would you address them? They are not there to listen to arguments, they are there to riot for the fun of it. Are you a bit thick or summin?

@ben255041185 Well said! @doilikeyou You are the scum of the earth who has been brought up without discipline or respect. I hope one day you learn what respect is, for your own sake if no-one else's. You, like a lot of the rest of the mindless population believe whatever the media tell you to believe. The police are out there doing a good job, and the only reason you say otherwise is because you expect the unachievable from them and have unjustified blind hatred for them. You are a sheep.
Shame on you indeed. The students at these protests should all be ashamed of themselves. The police are all heroes just doing their jobs for the good of the country. I hope none of them got hurt.
@007RoyalFlush i hope they all fucking die, all police are heroes stfu there useless twats what sit and eat mcdonalds all day and half of um are corrupt just like the goverment.
@minnimerc The military police don't hold a copywrite on the letters 'MP'. If you can't tell the difference between the military police who wear camouflage, red berets, routine firearms and work abroad and Metropolitan Police who wear bright yellow or blue, NATO helmets, batons and handcuffs, beat helmets and caps and work in London you are still a retard.
@Obain you really are quite dim my new found friend, but are obviously an expert on these things why would the met police not use the prefix Met (to save on paint).
@minnimerc I actually pity anyone who has to deal with you. If you still think those are military policemen based on the letters 'MP' you are one of the biggest idiots on youtube.
I suppose members of parliment (MPs) are all Military Policeman as well?
As for 'saving on paint' MET would use more fucking paint than MP does you muppet.
on another note, how good aren't those horses. If I was a horse in the same situation where kids are banging and things and throwing things at me I would kick the mother fuckers ass. Very well trained horses. ANd yes I know what you gonna say "if the police didn't charge us we wouldnt have had to throw things at them etc. etc." still would never ever in my entire life throw things at horses, specially not around shit loads of people and "friends" that easily could get trampeed and killed.
@rsolgtp How dare you say that! What use are your type of people in this world? NO USE so do yourself and us police officers a favour and go jump in front of a speeding train!
@Jonny30284 aww dont like being called a violent scum bag? were you in that crowd? because from what i saw there were plenty of officers behaving like they wanted a ruck. Well hey you wont be an officer for long. if you are one of the few peace keeping officers( I know the few good apples) because there will only be jobs for those prepared to beat on protesters. YOUR JOB IS NEXT. and yes i dare say that. i know plenty of coppers.at least the ex coppers (doormen)
@rsolgtp The security of my job is tucked up in bed nice and SAFE so i am free to beat the criminals out of the streets as a senior officer FOREVER without the likes of you screaming about it!
@rsolgtp They are doing their jobs, you can easily see people trying to attack them with poles and sticks. They were called out because the idiots decided to cause havoc in the streets, this would have never happened if people were civil.
To be fair, it must be pretty scary to be a policeman faced with a baying crowd continually pushing towards you, whilst your senior officers have instructed you to basically hold them back using whatever means available.
Personally, if I was put in that position and given a baton, I couldn't *guarantee* I wouldn't lash out at some of the tossers that were causing trouble.
That said, that's why I'm not a policeman. Maybe some of the guys on this video need re-evaluate their career choices.
The demonstrators were obviously responding to the continual baton and mounted attacks from the police. The police made no attempt to hold the crowd without batoning them even when no violence was used against them. Pushing is always going to happen with any large crowd such as Royal Weddings and Film premieres but the police dont seem to baton those crowds so readily. Makes you think the police have a political agenda of their own.
Check out the Police Inspectors Blog for their real views.
from 1:49 - assume you were focussing on the 'Medic' wielding a truncheon. WTF is going on there? Anyone with better background know the significance of this? shouldn't he be behind lines looking for and preparing to deal with injured (both protestors and actually police too...seems a bit odd to abandon your colleagues for the sake of a bit of argy bargy, but that's coppers for you...)?
Why don't they use Peper Spray? Or lacrymogena ? so stupid.

@Obain I love how all of you jump to defend this type of Brainwashing by picking on the disabled.... the met used to have a badge that said MET.
MP is also used by ministry of defence police.
trying to amalgamate all the services together so thick twats like you canny tell the difference. go back under your rock.
minnimerc 11 months ago
@minnimerc The military police don't hold a copywrite on the letters 'MP'. If you can't tell the difference between the military police who wear camouflage, red berets, routine firearms and work abroad and Metropolitan Police who wear bright yellow or blue, NATO helmets, batons and handcuffs, beat helmets and caps and work in London you are still a retard.
Obain 11 months ago
@Obain you really are quite dim my new found friend, but are obviously an expert on these things why would the met police not use the prefix Met (to save on paint).
minnimerc 11 months ago
@minnimerc I actually pity anyone who has to deal with you. If you still think those are military policemen based on the letters 'MP' you are one of the biggest idiots on youtube.
I suppose members of parliment (MPs) are all Military Policeman as well?
As for 'saving on paint' MET would use more fucking paint than MP does you muppet.

I was just waiting for the crowd to throw nets on them like planet of the apes....

on another note, how good aren't those horses. If I was a horse in the same situation where kids are banging and things and throwing things at me I would kick the mother fuckers ass. Very well trained horses. ANd yes I know what you gonna say "if the police didn't charge us we wouldnt have had to throw things at them etc. etc." still would never ever in my entire life throw things at horses, specially not around shit loads of people and "friends" that easily could get trampeed and killed.

this whole thing was caused by a violent minority. you can spot them in the crowd. the ones with the yellow jackets.

@rsolgtp How dare you say that! What use are your type of people in this world? NO USE so do yourself and us police officers a favour and go jump in front of a speeding train!
Jonny30284 10 months ago
@Jonny30284 aww dont like being called a violent scum bag? were you in that crowd? because from what i saw there were plenty of officers behaving like they wanted a ruck. Well hey you wont be an officer for long. if you are one of the few peace keeping officers( I know the few good apples) because there will only be jobs for those prepared to beat on protesters. YOUR JOB IS NEXT. and yes i dare say that. i know plenty of coppers.at least the ex coppers (doormen)
rsolgtp 10 months ago
@rsolgtp The security of my job is tucked up in bed nice and SAFE so i am free to beat the criminals out of the streets as a senior officer FOREVER without the likes of you screaming about it!
Jonny30284 10 months ago
@Jonny30284 just the sort of scum bag walking the streets. the answer to your statement is "fuck you fascist"
you just show exactly the sort of mentality in the police force it doesn't need. emphasis on force.
rsolgtp 10 months ago
@rsolgtp They are doing their jobs, you can easily see people trying to attack them with poles and sticks. They were called out because the idiots decided to cause havoc in the streets, this would have never happened if people were civil.
Big5000K 6 months ago

Check out the Police Inspectors Blog for their real views.

the question for the news media is, if this is student violence, and not police provocation - how on earth did you come to that conclusion?
PeterPannier 1 year ago
from 1:49 - assume you were focussing on the 'Medic' wielding a truncheon. WTF is going on there? Anyone with better background know the significance of this? shouldn't he be behind lines looking for and preparing to deal with injured (both protestors and actually police too...seems a bit odd to abandon your colleagues for the sake of a bit of argy bargy, but that's coppers for you...)?
